I had a very comfortable stay at Frederic's place in Barcelona! He left a great first impression, very welcoming. He took the time to show us a map of the city and gave us directions on how to move around the city using the train. He provided us with a list of restaurants that we could possibly dine at. We arrived early for our 3 PM check in, although the apartment was not ready we were able to leave our bags and do some exploring around the area until the apartment was ready. The location was excellent. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood away from all the tourists. It was easy to catch a taxi at anytime-day or night. You can walk around and explore my restaurants and stores. It is even close enough to walk to the Sagrada Familia. The apartment was nice and spacious which was great for 3 traveling females, 2 bathrooms made getting ready much easier. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, black out curtains were a great addition to keep out the unwanted sunlight. Nothing bad to say... The only thing that stunk was trying to figure out the microwave/toaster oven...the labels on the buttons were wiped of so it was difficult to work. If you plan to cook or heat up food just be sure to ask him to show you how. Overall great host, great apartment!
