After an initial hiccup gaining entry which the owner sorted promptly we were very happy with the cottage. It’s in a fantastic location, clean modern with alll amenities needed.

  • A perfect little cottage for two

Fearnmore Church is a wonderful place for two to stay, whether you plan to 'hide away' or not. The place has been thoughtfully 'modernized' without sacrificing its character, and it is well-stocked with all the necessities and conveniences we could have asked for--so one could, indeed, 'hide away' all week if one were inclined to do so. But it's also in a great spot if, like us, you wanted to go out and explore. Mark, the owner, was a very kind and gracious host, providing us with lots of helpful information about the area before we arrived, and he stopped by for a welcoming chat on the eve of our arrival. I suppose the litmus test for any lodging is whether one would want to return to it, and here the answer is an unequivocal and enthusiastic 'YES'!
