Charming cottage in rural setting with horses trotting past the bedroom windows in the morning. Well appointed kitchen, gigantic log burning fireplace and beautiful gardens, undoubtedy spectacular in the summertime.

  • A true gem of a place

From the moment we arrived at the Annexe, everything was perfect. Situated on a gently sloping sheep pasture, and just off the High street in Chipping Campden, you couldn’t find a more convenient, picturesque location. Step inside and the attention to detail is apparent in every room. Lovely linens in the bedroom and baths, every dish, glass, pot and pan in kitchen clearly closen with care. Books everywhere, just made us want to burrow in. We spent 15 days in the Annexe and that was just too short. Next time we will stay longer. We cooked dinner and ate by candlelight in the cozy kitchen, had coffee in the living room and watched the sheep, then wine and cheese in the afternoon and again, watched the sheep. A short walk down the street to go out for dinner or across the pasture to a neighboring village. It was lovely to meet Alice and Jerome, who have created a true gem of a place. Our stay at the Annexe was our best vacation yet. Such a special place.
