  • Very nice spot for our first trip to Loch Ness! Tons of space and very comfortable.

Property was great - Alan and Cami were attentive hosts. They arrived late to meet us, but that was due to traffic and they were very apologetic. Had the place cleaned in a jiffy and all was neat as a pin. Only real challenge we had was getting the toilets to flush consistently, but that's due to the system they are on and not within their control. Location was good and very peaceful. Lots of great ideas to review on things to do and places to go around and on Loch Ness. Victoria, who owns the adjacent B&B, was lovely and spent some time chatting about the area, as well as sharing her wonderful homemade chocolate with us! One suggestion - we had very good weather - not too hot and not too cold, but if it had been warmer, the bedroom windows upstairs did not open very far, so ventilation would have been very limited. If those windows don't get replaced at some point, might want to consider having fans in both rooms as it did get a little stuffy on the upper floor. That being said, we would definitely come back! Thanks! Jan

This is a great house for families and large groups. We had nine, including two small children, and there were comfortable places to gather, as well as get away. The kitchen is fully equipped, and nicely laid out. Everything here is luxurious, and feels new. It is in a good location between St Augustus and Inverness. There are walking trails nearby, and a cemetery across the street. If you are seeking Nessie, there is not a better spot to base your search.
