  • A week's Summer break for a family of four
    5 of 5

We had a lovely week's holiday stopping at the Treasure Box apartment. The apartment was just perfect and provided all we needed for a enjoyable, comfortable stay. The apartment was well laid out and included all you needed for a family holiday. It was extremely clean and tidy and finished off to a high standard, and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice that the kitchen had extras like a washing machine and tumble dryer (we didn't use the dryer) but it was nice that the apartment had one. The TV also had Netflix, which helped entertain the kids when we got back after a busy day exploring or relaxing after a day at the beach. We found it a great base for exploring Cornwall, and although the apartment doesn't have parking, you are allowed to park overnight directly outside the apartment from 5.30pm until 9.30am the next day, which we did, but the car park was only down the road, so we didn't find this any bother. Would highly recommend the local take away curry from just around the corner, open on a Tue/Wed/Thur in the Summer. It was delicious and we even had to go back out to get extra nan bread, it was so nice. Would also recommend the local beach of Poldhu, super beach with lots of rock pools and great cafe. We really enjoyed our days there, and the kids loved it. I would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or family of three/four, it's a perfect base for a Cornwall holiday. I hope one day we will return.

  • A lovely stay in a wonderful location

The Cottage is located over the clifftops of Mullion Cove with direct view to the sea from the windows on the first floor. Within 5 minutes walk you are at the coast path near the cliffs to watch a fantastic sundown. We had a warm welcome with biscuits and tea from the owner, whom we´ve connected in advance to get some details. Many thanks for the friendly communication per sms. We could highly recommend this home for a family with kids or a younger couple - not for elder people because of the narrow stairs. Everything else was marvellous, decorated with love any even if everything was very tiny in space- there was everything you had needed. We´d love to come again once with Mullion being a real paradise - but for us it was 1500 km to drive... Thank you for a lovely stay we´d never forget. ;o)
