This review is for Larkhall Town House in Bath. The house is very nicely restored. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped. The location is very convenient to Bath, a safe walk into town. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is also nicely remodeled. The off street parking is great. There are 2 great cafes near by, Goodies Deli and Cornerstone Cafe with great baked items. The snacks left by Vito where just what we needed after a long day of travel. Much appreciated. Vito is very responsive by email during booking process. My only suggestions(not criticisms) would be to have a notebook with instructions about appliances, heating system, recycling & trash, and local attractions. My other suggestion would be to change out the carpet. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you.

The pictures in the website are beautiful but still didn't prepare us for the cottage when we arrived. This wonderfully appointed cottage is situated on a small hill overlooking a valley and the view is exquisite. Driving to the cottage be prepared that it is a very small road for Americans. :-) It is about one car wide and has its share of traffic in the morning. There is parking for two cars in a driveway just off Tucking Mill Road. Enter through a wooden gate and down a short gravel path guarded by a rope fence that leads you to the front door. The cottage is modern inside and decorated very tastefully. The living room/dining room/kitchen combo is large and comfortable. There is a washing machine so artfully hidden by the front door in the cabinet it took me a day to find it. All the cooking devices you could possible want are included. We were greeted with a wonderful bottle of brandy which I sorely needed after a three hour drive from Cornwall! The bathroom has a very cool glass enclosed shower and a heated towel rack, surely the sign of a most advanced civilization. The bedroom had the most comfortable bed of our 14 days in England. Heating is controlled by wall units and easy to use. Great wi-fi and TV service as well. We enjoyed the outside sitting area very much. There are several foot paths nearby to stroll the countryside. It is a 10-15 minute drive to Bath. We chose to take taxis to take a break from driving and avoid the congestion getting into the city. It costs about £13-£14 each way. Bath is one of the most beautiful cities in Britain.
