We appreciated that Sandy was available quickly with my questions and flexible with check in time and parking spots. Loved the big T.V. watched Hallmark movies. We rented a hot spot no dead zones in the house. We were there to cook, eat, craft and catch up with friends. We stayed in winter so it was a welcoming atmosphere with all of the decorations, stockings, and Christmas tree. With that being said, we were limited on room in the bedroom and bathroom to place our bedside personal items, toiletry bag and purses as the drawers had the owners clothes in them so we had to place our bags on the floor. We noticed a odd smell on the main floor. First we thought a burner was on, then the smell was not by stove but under kitchen sink so we assumed septic odor. We fixed that be burning a candle. The kitchen description encouraged full use of the kitchen as we all brought food to make wonderful meals and desserts so we were confused as to why the freezer was 75% filled with the owner's food, and glass mugs. The refrigerator was >40 % also filled causing us to leave our beverages and fruits in the 3 season room/ my car. My group of ladies were disappointed in the inaccurate description of the amenities. There is no 3 bathrooms! The master bathroom had a lovely Jacuzzi tube, and beautiful roomy shower. The first floor had a toilet, washing machine/ dryer and a tiny angled shower (so .75 bath). We looked hard to find the 3rd bathroom. We found it in the basement. You need to access this from outside, or through a hatch on the floor in the first floor bedroom and climb down the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder places you in a unfinished small section of the basement with personal papers, one toilet, and 3 nicely decorated twin beds . Kind of creepy. Even if we had kids I would not feel comfortable having them in that room and no sink to wash your hand so I can't see how you can say a bathroom. We don't see how you can sleep 9 people in the fall or winter. The 3 bedrooms were correct however the description of sleeping options of 9 included the futon in the 3 season room, this was not heated. Even if we left the doors open to the living room I don't think it would have been warmer than 50. We had tables with crafting supplies so pulling out the couch was no good. We shared the king. Worked out for 4 of us but we potentially had 6 that were coming so if it was one person per bed then the cold room or basement futon in the game room would have been the option.

We visited in November, so it was very cold! But the lake was beautiful, the town was cute, and the surrounding area was very pretty! I would love to see the area when it's warm!
