We spent four days with our family at this lake house prior to my daughter's wedding. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped except for a wine opener and wine glasses. We actually borrowed a wine opener from the gracious next door neighbor! Steve was quick to respond when the tv control didn't work. He had one delivered that night! We had a great time despite the rain and cool temps which didn't allow us to enjoy the lake. I would recommend this house to a group looking for space to spread out but yet gather together for meals and visiting. The lake room was wonderful for that.
Teri is a fabulous host at this little slice of heaven. Inside and out this property reflects the beauty of nature and serenity. Inside you’ll see beautiful photography and art which speaks to the soul of nature lovers and the grounds outside are simply beautiful offering areas of restful respite and meditation. If you’re lucky you’ll get to watch watercolor artists refine their craft in the art studio in back. Every detail is thought of here. This lovely home offers clean, quiet comfort and the kitchen is a cooks dream - no need to go out when every utensil and even lovely dishes & crystal at your disposal to set the mood for those special evenings. Right across the street is the most fabulous library with great hours and a DVD section 2nd to none so you have access to free entertainment to fill those kick back moments or rainy day relaxation using the provided card. The town is lovely for a stroll taking in all the different styles of architecture and the central location is great to experience. From a Brewers game to swimming the beaches of LaBelle or Pewaukee lakes, or the must see for everyone “Holy Hill” . Dare to trek the 178 steps to the top of one of its two spires where the breathtaking view spans Milwaukee and beyond. The fall foliage would be exquisite! So many lovely places to dine in any direction and antiquing galore.
And Teri has a lovely complimentary breakfast bar set with cereals oatmeal pancake mix teas and coffees milk cream - just few items of many . One thing I loved was the washer / dryer - during our week stay it came in handy - when I returned home - I didn’t have the usual loads of work and was able to simply put things away. We will definitely stay here any time we are in the area and you will too once you try it out . Enjoy your stay in “The Land of Sky Blue Waters” where the lakes are crystal clear and the people are kind and welcoming .
