  • Great place!!
    4 of 5

We had a total of 12 people (3 families) stay at this cabin over New Years. It worked great for us. We enjoyed playing games on the frozen lake and running/walking on the secluded road/driveway leading to the cabin. The cabin was spacious and the kitchen had plenty of the basics for our weekend. We all agreed that it would be a beautiful place to stay in the summer as well. We learned upon arrive that the company that owns the cabin donates to supporting youth of mental health illness. Big kudos to them on that front. One suggestion for the owners is to stock the kitchen with more dish rags and hand towels. The 1 to 2 was not enough.

  • Roomy, well-appointed 1960s cabin

We were looking for a classic north country cabin experience, and this was exactly what we got. The property is heavily wooded, and the house is large, comfortable and straight out of the 1960s. If you’re expecting modern luxury, this isn’t the place. But If you’re looking for a mid-range four-bedroom cabin right on the lake with everything you need, then you’ll love this. Our group had five people and a dog, and there was more than enough space. The shore is steep, with a long set of steps down to the dock, so be aware of that. The deck overlooking the lake is large and has plenty of chairs, and the view is great. Big well-equipped kitchen, cabin-standard bathrooms, plenty of tables and couches. Satellite TV, but no WiFi. The caretaker, Frank, lives next door and was very welcoming and friendly. We had a great time, and hope to be back!
