About this property

Bright house 100 m from Betey beach on a very cozy garden of around 100 m2 completely renovated including:
- on the ground floor: a living room with French window overlooking the garden, a new fully equipped separate kitchen, shower room and separate toilet.
- 2 bedrooms upstairs (one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds). Possibility of having an inflatable repair mattress.
The garden includes table, chairs, sun loungers, parasol and barbecue.
The house is rented without heating BUT it can be billed after a meter reading during the inventory. (around 25 euros per week)

Very Unsatisfied

While Véronique is a truly lovely lady, I was extremely disappointed with her accommodations. The house was sweltering hot (51oC in the bedrooms upstairs) and she was going to charge us 20 Euros extra for using a portable air conditioner that she had no idea how to hook up. An extra 20 Euros was also requested for towels and sheets. She did not supply a tea cloth to dry the dishes nor even a cloth/sponge to wash the dishes or wipe down the counter. Wifi was supposed to be included, but Véronique advised that it is not working. When recently reading a review from April 2022, I realized that her Wifi hasn’t been working since at least Easter, yet she continues to include this amenity in her listing. The living room furniture is small, uncomfortable patio furniture. Apparently, there is supposed to be a public pool; however, Véronique had no idea where it is located. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but left the next day. Spend a bit more money and find a really nice place...

Pas correct

L’annonce parle d’une maison. C’est en fait un ancien garage ou une ancienne remise, ce qui n’est pas tout à fait la même chose. D’ailleurs l’isolation, la ventilation (pas de VMC ni de hotte dans la cuisine) n’est pas celle d’une « vraie » maison. Le sol était Glacé et il faisait froid. Nous avions réservés 3 nuits à Pâques. Il faisait beau la première journée mais ensuite les températures ont chutés. 12/13° le matin dehors, guère plus à l’intérieur de la « maison » puisque pas de chauffage ! Pas de convecteur dans la salle de bain et surtout pas de fusibles au compteur pour que les autres fonctionnent…Malgré un message à la propriétaire, qui est dans la maison collée à cette ancienne remise, pas de réponse alors que jusque là la communication était simple. La volonté de sa part de faire des économies au détriment du bien être des locataires…franchement navrant chère madame, surtout que nous avions des ados avec nous. Un conseil pour faire des économies : commencez par régler la température du chauffe-eau, car l’eau est bouillante. La propreté peut-être largement améliorée : toiles d’araignées un peu partout, têtes de lit poussiéreuses, vaisselles pas très propres (verres collants). Les WC ne sont pas séparés comme indiqué sur l’annonce. Du coup je vous laisse imaginer « l’ambiance » dans cette salle de bain (humidité et odeurs). Pas de wifi (box ou code à disposition). Le réseau « véronique » apparaît avec 4 barres à l’extérieur mais tombe à deux voir une barre à l’intérieur. Abritel annonce une piscine. Je la cherche encore. Enfin, un peu dans l’esprit camping et comme pour la location d’un mobil-home, mais en beaucoup plus cher, il faudra venir avec vos draps, housses de couettes et d’oreillers et serviettes de toilettes et assurer le ménage au départ, ou accepter un forfait à 40€, probablement pour la désinfection globale du logement pour la covid.. Bref, comme on dit : une fois mais pas deux !

Séjour agréable

maison bien située, proche de la plage et commerces de proximité. Par contre déçus par la fonctionnalité de la salle d'eau, douche très étroite, même pour une personne menue, plus basse que le niveau du sol, tuyauterie apparente et vieillotte. Il est précisé dans l'annonce que les toilettes sont séparées alors qu'elles sont dans la salle d'eau. Dommage car la location est sympa.
