About this property

Three Bedroom home in the heart of Bar Harbor walking distance to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. The street situated right at the edge of Acadia National Park- get on your bike and take in the breathtaking views around park loop or just take a short walk and get a home made ice cream cone at Mount Desert Ice Cream, Walk to the Village Green and take in an art show or enjoy a concert from the Bar Harbor Town Band, or walk to the Reel Pizza to enjoy watching a movie and eating a delicious pizza.
The home is on an extra large lot so you can enjoy a cooking smores on cool evening or play catch with your kids. All three bedrooms are situated on the top floor and each have a TV. The Master has a king size bed and the two other rooms have twin with a trundles underneath for an extra person. The kitchen is eat in and has recently been updated with stainless steel appliances and new wood floors. The living room is tastefully appointed with a fireplace and a pull out queen size couch. Enjoy all that Maine has to offer in your in-town rental giving you easy access to everything you may need.

A pleasant home in the village!

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Bar Harbor, ME and we equally enjoyed our stay with "In the Heart of the Village". The location to the village was ideal and we walked to all of the shops, restaurants, and sites very easily. It was a very busy time in Bar Harbor and parking at times was impossible. The homes location allowed us to come and go freely. Meghan was lovely to work with and we would definitely stay here again!

Cozy House; Great Location

We loved our stay at Megan's home in Bar Harbor. The house was cozy with plenty of room and a great location for walking to downtown shops/restaurants/sights. The kitchen was well stocked for dinners in and there was ample extra bedding for all bedrooms. The check in/check out process was so simple and easy. We did have one issue come up and Megan was very responsive and resolved to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend!

Great early fall weekend gateaway

My family of 4 (2 kids under 5) had a great weekend in Bar Harbor. The house has two cute bedroom. S, perfect for kids or teens, and a master with a comfortable King. The kids loved the yard. Walking distance (for the kids too) to main street and all the restaurants, cafes and shops that Bar Harbor has to offer. Kids especially loved excursions to Acadia, Southwest Harbor, and other small towns within 30min drive. Communication with owner was great. Absolutely recommend this house to anyone wanting an in-town (quiet off mainstreet) location (private driveway parking) with access to all bar harbor and MDI. We will definitely return when we come back to MDI.
