About Amy Feyer
We are a family of four that LOVES the beach and LOVES to travel... We are "locals" we live about and hour and a half from our home and go as often as possible!! We are always searching for beaches, from Hawaii to Florida to California to Italy, NC has our heart!
Amy Feyer purchased this Condo in 2017
Why Amy Feyer chose Pine Knoll Shores
Because we love it that much!! We actually own two places in the same area, #12 and #35. A few years ago, we stumbled upon Ocean Glen and immediately knew it was different than all of the other "condos" in the area. We looked all over the NC coast, nothing compared. Here, we found a different way of beach living. We bought our first house in 2015 and spent a year and a half renovating and enjoying it ourselves. After putting it on VRBO and having such great response, we had the opportunity to purchase #12. We are so glad we did, it's our favorite spot!!
What makes this Condo unique
This home and complex is so unique, We have never found another place as quiet and as relaxed with such easy access to the beach and pool!! We have enjoyed this home EVERY month out of the year... l sunsets over the ocean (yes, that really happens in NC) to the weirdly warm days in February 2017 when we swam in the ocean and got a touch of sunburn!

We so enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect! Great experience! Short walk to the beach. Pool was just steps away. Everything just as described.
Your home away from home!
Our family had a fantastic week at the Feyer home! It is beautifully done, comfortable, and steps away from the beach and pool! We will certainly be back and had a wonderful experience from start to finish! 5 star experience!
Thank you so much for the kind words!... Y’all were such a fun family!!! I’m so glad you had a wonderful vacation and we hope to see you next year!!
Condo was the perfect location for our family vacation as it was clean, well stocked and had everything you need. Beach and pool were just steps away, always a plus. Would defiantly stay again. Amy answered all questions in a timely manner. Thanks you for sharing your beach home.
This condo was perfect for our trip to the beach! We had 5 adults and a 1 year old and there was plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. The convenience of the pool and beach cannot be overstated! The short walk to the ocean made our beach days a breeze even with all the stuff we carried out with us. The condo itself was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus some. Amy was super helpful and responded right away to any questions I had. This is a great find!
Relaxing and wonderful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was well equipped with everything we could possibly need and beautifully decorated! We loved being so close to both the pool and the ocean. The owner is so kind and caring as well! We will be back!
The reason for the title (of this review) is twofold. One, there are no clocks in the townhouse and it is like going back in time. The beach and facility are uncrowded and the residents and visitors are particularly nice. The two townhouse buildings have parallel decks with trees in between offering shade and privacy. There is a very short walk to the end of the deck and the beach. I counted no more than 10 gatherings of people on the beach at any time which provided a serene environment. The townhouses are surrounded by a few single family beach homes. There are no hotels or condominiums in the area. The owners Amy and Chad were helpful with any questions that we posed. 'Steps to the beach' is extremely well equipped and has everything that you can imagine and some things that you can't imagine. The Kcup machine even has a gold plated filter cup if you did not bring Kcups.
I won't even attempt to list the items but it spans the gamut from a crockpot to pyrex dishes and spices. We noticed that previous guests had left items to be used by others and we did the same as it made us feel a part of the experience. The house is multilevel, clean and well appointed. On the barrier island, you have a nice size "Dollar Tree" and I believe a "Food Lion" about 5 miles to the east. On the mainland, you have a Lidl which is a unique and economical German super market experience. A nearby charming town is Beufort. The only issues we had was with the lock box which did work but was a little difficult for us to open at first attempts. The other issue was the TV in the Family room. There are two remotes that perfom different functions. I believe one was for the TV and the other for the Cable service. There is nothing wrong but you have to know which functions are controlled by each. Amy had asked me if there is anything that I thought was needed and the answer is probably "No" but being picky one larger frying pan or griddle would be the only item. One last item! On a clear night, you can go to the seating area at the end of the deck and watch the night sky come alive. The stars and Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus popped out of the sky. Thank you for a great vacation. Dirk, Liliana and Max
