About Mike Belanger
Welcome, and thanks for considering staying in our vacation home. We live 1 hour south. Since a small child, we always enjoyed a day or week at Lake George. The clean water of the lake will amaze you, as it has to us. You will find that Bolton Landing is the best spot on the whole lake.
Mike Belanger purchased this Farmhouse in 2004
Why Mike Belanger chose Bolton Landing
Our family fell in love with the wrap around porch and the eastern view of the lake and mountains. We put a lot of sweat into renovating the house. This is our second home. Please enjoy and respect it.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
We made sure this house has everything you need to enjoy your time here. If the sun is shining, enjoy the horse shoes or a volleyball game. If raining, we have High def cable tv, books and board games. We also have pin pong in the garage.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
The lake house was charming. The porch view was amazing and we had a totally relaxing stay. Wonderful!!!
This property is wonderful
This is a wonderful property. We barbecued on the clean grill, used the great fire pit. The kitchen had all the required implements to cook a great meal. This property worked well for a person able to walk with a walker. We loved the quick time it took to drive to the center of Bolton Landing.
The super size of the lawn is great, playing Can Jam which was supplied in the garage was a family fun time. We lucked out with the weather. Best is to wake up early have a cup of coffee on the wrap around porch listening to the stream close by and the birds.
Lovely stay, would recommend to friends.
Great time! Great host!
Thanks Mike for a very special weekend. We all really enjoyed.
Cozy Mountain View Farmhouse
Mike’s home is immediately inviting with a large wrap around porch and plenty of rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The home was very clean & cozy on the inside decorated with a rustic ADK theme. The owner was quick to respond to our inquiries. Bolton Landing is a quaint little town with some local shops and a variety of restaurants that offer eat in or take out selections. Lake Placid is about a 90 minute drive offering another fun place to spend a day. *Also a great location if you travel with your dog as there is a large yard for them to enjoy!
We had a wonderful weekend at the home. The house was neat, clean and in order.
What we enjoyed the most from this home was the outside porch and patio area. The weather was great so we spent a lot of our time enjoying coffee and breakfast on the porch in the mornings, all with a scenic view in front of us. I would stay at the home again.
Perfect house in quiet location
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. And each time has been perfect. House is always clean and Mike provides a handy Bolton Landing canvas bags filled with some essentials.Kitchen has plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. Love the new addition of the patio and lounge chairs!! The view from the porch is perfect to watch the sunrise over the mountains with a cup of morning coffee, or watch the moon rise in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet and scenic but located only a 5 minute drive from town of Bolton Landing which has everything you might need. Our golden retriever loved the large property to roam on. We will definitely stay here again. We did not travel with any children, but house will easily accommodate a family with room for all.

From their website:
Honored by Golf Magazine as one of its Silver Medal Resorts, this beautiful hillside course overlooks Lake George and was designed and built under Donald Ross's personal supervision in 1928. As part of a $75 million restoration in 1985, the legendary course was fully restored according to Ross's original blueprints.
In classic Ross fashion, The Sagamore's golf course uses the natural environment to give each hole its challenge and beauty. The holes are routed naturally through an upland meadow and the Adirondack woods, where white birches enliven the evergreen forest. To add an accent to the rolling mountainside terrain, Ross planted heather from his own native Scotland within the meadow. Lush fairways are narrow and lined with hardwoods, while deep bunkers surround undulating greens. From the elevated first tee, you have a breathtaking view of Lake George and the Adirondack peaks.
Golf Digest rated this course as the '5th Best Public Course in New York State.' In addition, Corporate and Incentive Travel gave it a 'Greens of Distinction' award and Condé Nast named it a top U.S. resort course.
