4 Bedroom + Loft 4.5 Bath House, Views of Ten Mile Range & Breck Ski Area
Both my husband Alex and I love outdoors and have an active lifestyle. As we live in Ohio, every time we are in Breckenridge in the Summer we cannot wait to go hiking on the many trails close by and conquer some 13ers or 14ers (mountains that have peaks above 13,000 or 14,000 ft). In Winter or Spring we enjoy the fantastic ski slopes in Breck (all 5 peaks) or other nearby ski resorts.
Carmen purchased this House in 2011
Why Carmen chose Woodmoor
Our house is located in a quiet area of Woodmoor, overlooking the historic town of Breckenridge and is surrounded by scenic forests, with easy access to hiking and biking trails. Close to town, yet quiet, our house with its wrap-around balcony and large deck provides an ideal setting for friends and family to gather. Unforgettable sunsets from the comfort of the living room and stunning views of the mountains from most rooms give countless memories to cherish. Our wonderful home with log accents is the perfect base camp, being conveniently located at less than 4 miles from downtown Breckenridge and an incredible selection of activities, whether one is interested in outdoor activities, fine arts, music, or a delicious meal. In winter, one can ski the 5 mountains of Breckenridge Ski Resort (Gondola is 10 min drive from our house) and 5 other ski areas that are less than one hour drive away.

P’s Birthday celebration
We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. Clean, well stocked with all the items to make our stay comfortable.
The layout of the house accommodated our party of 8 ladies perfectly. Enough room for everyone to have their own space and for the group gatherings.
Fabulous view and the property manager (Carmen) was very helpful and responsive!
Perfect family vacation. Loved the place and connect with the wildlife. Kids thrilled.
Super easy, really responsive and a great family location.
Great place. Carmen was very accommodating to our needs! We had some "snow" issues while we were there, but in CO, going skiing...that is a good thing, lol. Highly recommend!
A very enjoyable house with great views! Very comfortable for two families, we had 10 in our party.
Great experience, the snow was fantastic, never seen so much at once. Very comfortable house. We had 3 boys in bunk room, two girls on Queen and one girl outside of Queen room on sofa bed. Only problem with sofa bed is parents get up earlier than kids for coffee and noisy in loft. Beds super comfortable. All the pots, pans and utensils you could need supplied. Highly recommend the house for two families to share as we had 10 total. Enjoyed the hot tub after day of skiing! We used our two cars to drive to gondola lot and park. Also dropped off and picked up at peak 8 using Ski Hill Road. Did not use the shuttle and suspect it would be a wait as saw very few as we drove back and forth to town. Roads were always good but needed 4 wheel drive with all the snow. Book your trip here and enjoy as we did!
Beautiful Mountain Home
This is a recently built home in the mountains with spectacular views of the area. It is about 10 minutes from town and an hour from leaving it until sitting on a chair lift at Breckenridge. We had a group of 8 men and it met our needs for a relaxing ski vacation. The kitchen is very well appointed as are the bedrooms and baths. The hot tub was nice and hot. Just make sure to have a 4x4 in the winter as the roads are steep in front of the house. Carmen was very responsive to any needs. We had a great time!
Thank you George for reviewing your vacation trip.. We are glad you had an enjoyable stay in Breck and at our house. I am surprized to learn that it took you one hour to the slopes, that has not been our experience for skiing at Breck. In one hour one can get to the slopes in Keystone and even Vail. There are several options to get to the slopes in Breck. The fastest way is to drive less than 10 min to the parking lot at the base of Peak 9, near the ski-in ski-out River Run Hotel, where there are several chair lifts. A popular, but more crowded option is to drive 10 min to the gondola parking lot and ride several minutes with it up to Peak 7 or 8 chair lifts. Come back and see us again soon!
This house had plenty of space and was very comfortable for our group! The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning. The hike to the bus stop with ski gear was a little challenging, but without our gear it was a quick 10 minute walk. The owners were very helpful and replied to all questions very quickly. Definitely recommend staying here!
Free Summit County Shuttle (Summit Stage, Boreas Pass Loop) stops at approximately 1/3 of a mile (Gold Point stop) from the house and takes you to downtown Breckenridge and the gondola. From there, buses take you to other Summit County Resorts. For more flexibility a car is preferable, while an AWD/4WD is recommended for driving from Denver to Breckenridge as well as around the town and to our house during or after a big snow storm.
