About Keller Sylvie and Philippe
After creating and managing a weekly newspaper for 16 years in the Minervois, La Semaine du Minervois, we decided to change profession: Sylvie has gone into mosaic (tables and decorations in private homes) and Philippe into fruit agriculture and transformation (especially chestnut cream). This long experience at the newspaper led us to have detailed knowledge of the 70 communes of the Minervois. We will recommend many things thanks to our knowledge of people and places.
Keller Sylvie and Philippe purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Keller Sylvie and Philippe chose Félines-Minervois
We rent a part of our house, the ground floor. We live on the first floor. The house is huge and we decided to create a gîte to welcome summer holidaymakers but also the family and friends.
What makes this Cottage unique
The tranquillity gives the opportunity to take a break. The direct environment helps a lot because the village is quiet and has little traffic and we you leave the house, you are really surrounded by nature.

Really enjoyed the holiday
It was the second time we visited. We had a wonderful experience once again.
The accommodation is nice, clean and spacious and the kids had space to move around and play. Plenty of natural light and there is no noise. It is perfect if you looking forward a nice restful night!
The kitchen is fully equipped and plenty of worktop space perfect to sit around enjoying the delicious wine while cooking. The village shop is fully stocked and it is within walking distance.
There is little traffic so driving around is pleasant and the views are amazing. Sylvie and Philippe are friendly, attentive and gave us plenty of advice for activities suitable for the children.
Thank you for the amazing stay

Spacious and comfortable accommodation in quiet tranquil village. Friendly hosts and beautiful countryside. Recommend It!
Well equiped gite, clean, best for couples and most importantly dog friendly
Well equiped and clean gite, for our taste a bit dark and we missed having an outdoor space with a view. There is a walled-in terrace at the back, good for meals. We had brought our topper for the double bed and I am glad I did, the matrass is quite hard, but then I do have a bad back. Also bring your own entertainment, there is no tv, so if you do fancy a night in, that is something to be considered, the couches need replacing. On a positive note, its dogfriendly, the owners are really lovely, we went with them to a wine bar (check it out, its in siran, very nice food) they do live upstairs and work from home, so if you want complete peace and quite and being on your own, please take that into account. So all in all to sum it up, the price of this gite refelects the minor ‘negative’ things we found. Its a perfect place for visiting the black mountains, in Minerve do book an outside table in relais chantovent, not cheap but worth it. We cycled many of the voie vert, canal du midi, in the pyrenees, but our favorite was at the top of the black mountains around Olargues which was very pretty. Ofcourse carcassonne is a must, go early in the morning, massive crowds otherwise. There are many pretty lakes around too, from Olargues you can follow the 3 or 4 lake route, bring a picnic. I did miss having an information book in the gite, where people have written recommendations and their experiences. It normally is our guide to a new area, indeed you can asked the proprietors, but sometimes getting first hand tourist information is invaluable. So all in all, it was a pleasant stay, we loved the area and will return to the mid-pyrenees since there is much to explore. Thanks Philippe for allowing our bikes to be stored in his garage, (your car will be parked onto the road) and all the delicious goodies and Sylvies hospitality. (Philippe and Sylvie speak english).
The Gite is as splendid as are the owners.
We've been traveling a lot in France and stayed in similar facilities; however Gite Keller is way above the average. It was spotless, roomy, fully furnished and supplied for a lengthy stay. There were excellent facilities for cooking, entertaining friends, dining, housekeeping, BBQ and a lovely terrace in a very picturesque location of Felines. An added bonus was the attention of the owners; Philippe and Sylvie are a very friendly couple, attentive and always willing to give advice and guidance. We are looking forward to a return visit soonest.
On a hillside, on the edge of a quiet village - perfect peace! We had a lovely, relaxing holiday - the apartment is delightful, full of quirky charm & homespun touches, clean & spacious. You can lose yourself in the hills and discover pretty villages & beautiful scenery with the distant Pyrenees as a backdrop - bliss! Or you can be in Carcassonne, Beziers or the beach within an hour. Sylvie & Philippe were lovely & made us feel vey welcome. As we were there late in the year a number of restaurants were closed but we had a delicious meal at La Marbrerie in nearby Caunes Minervois. For a taste of tranquil, rural France at it's best you need to come here!
One of the best and nicest gites ever
We have stayed there in June 2015. Sylvie and Philippe are the nicest hosts that we have ever met. Very welcoming, they also gave us very much privacy, although they were also very available to answer any questions we might have and their advice was always spot on for visits or shopping, etc. Their gite is located in one of the nicest and quietest area in the Midi. Very well located, we were able to drive anywhere of interest, whether it was the beach, some historic village, or cities, in a relatively short time. Highly recommended!
Félines-Minervois and the Minervois offer a nature to visit in any season. Félines-Minervois village is located between plain and mountain (135 to 950 m in altitude) and whether it is sunny or not, you will always have things to do on site or in 20 km radius and further. One of the characteristics of the Minervois is the low attendance of the natural areas even during the high season. Consequently, some beautiful places are not crowded at all, such as the Cesse of the Brian Gorge, even in summer. In addition to nature, and for the last 20 years, the Minervois and more generally the Languedoc countryside offer many amenities and events to visitors. You will find “terroir” markets, many and varied feasts, heritage events, tasting at the producer’s shop, sport and leisure activities and above all, you will meet simple people during games of boules at night at the village, concerts and shows among others. There is everything to spend nice holidays if you are curious about your environment.
