About Kristi Norcross
We bought this cabin because we LOVE the Black Hills of South Dakota! Hill City is a small town (942 people) with rich culture, wineries, breweries, and art. The 1880 steam train takes you back in time in a family sort of way. Down on Main St, the Dinosaur Museum is on the right, just down from Turtle STOP for ice cream even in the winter! Doc & Alice's is the cutest unique clothing boutique next door to the lovely John Crane Art Gallery. Then there is the ice skating next to the HC visitors center! Can't wait to retire and move to SoDak!

Hill City Trip
Nice quiet location with great views.
Lovely cabin and location
We had a wonderful week at Ribchester. The house was beautiful and had lots of room for our family. We enjoyed grilling and toasted smores in the fire pit one night. This was a good central location for day excursions to different parks and towns. Recommended.
The cabin is centrally located in the Black Hills with easy access to many of the main attractions. Cabin was roomy and sits on a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a bit of a hiccup checking in to the place but once we were able to reach the property owner things worked out fine. Would recommend this place for others with large parties they are trying to accommodate.
Great home - great location
Firstly, the communication from Kristi was fantastic, right from the start of the booking to the end of the trip.
The home is in a great location, just out of town (Hill City).
Beautiful grounds and surrounds, with lots of deer and other wildlife.
When we arrived it was cold and snowy so you can imagine how wonderful it was to arrive to a warm house with a great gas (log) fire that had been pre-lit. Thank you Kristi for the little touches that made our vacation great.
Plenty of bedrooms, lots of toys for the grandkids, wonderful amenities.
The only very slight negative I have in relation to the property is that there is no cell coverage. Obviously this is beyond the control of the owners, however it would be nice to have had wifi. As I said, a very small negative, which is probably not an issue for most people.
Thank you Kristi for sharing your property with us. We loved the Black Hills area, and if we are lucky enough to return (It's a long way from our home in Australia) we will certainly book this beautiful property again.
Wonderful, beautiful location in the Black Hills of SD
Was the perfect location for all the sightseeing in that part of the state.
The house is very roomy and has everything you need.
We only had adults in our group, the house would be super for families with kids or multiple families.
We saw deer every day at the house, and chipmunks as well.
Would rent this house again, without hesitation, if we come back to the area for more exploring.
Very warm and family oriented cabin. Would stay again.
Close to all activities in the Black Hills Cabin was like being at home. Wildlife right outside. Kids loved all the games and toys to play with. Never a boring moment. Great time to Turn off the phone and Turn off the TV. Would stay again.
