The North Carolina mountains are prone to snow and icy conditions during the winter months. The cabin is located on a gravel road. A 4 wheel drive vehicle will be required if there is snow during your stay. We have driven from the cabin in 8 inches of snow in a 4 wheel drive truck with no issues.
