About Mike Gregoire
My wife and family have been enjoying this beautiful lake and location for many years and have made many wonderful memories with our family and friends.
Mike Gregoire purchased this Condo in 2005
Why Mike Gregoire chose Newport Center
I've been vacationing in Vermont since I was a child and this is the most beautiful and unspoiled spot I've ever found!
What makes this Condo unique
Enjoying the lakefront and facilities in a quiet, natural setting yet close to town and attractions-you can't beat this location! Ski Jay and snowmobile in the winter and visit Quebec year-round. There's always something to do.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Minutes away from all the attractions. Stay simplified by owners attention to detail. Condo was very clean. Can't recommend it enough.
Thank you Jedd. I’m glad that you enjoyed the condo and everything the area has to offer. Hope to see you again soon!
Had a great stay at this condo. Very clean. The owner left very clear instructions, which we liked. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. Kids LOVED the heated outdoor pool, which was clean and well maintained. There is a small basketball and tennis court, too (you have to bring your own equipment).
Cons: They are minor ... Wish the owner/management company stocked more toilet paper (Only one small roll + partial roll in each bath). For a family of four, over four nights, that didn't last long, and we had to buy more for the condo. Also wish there was a hair dryer. Again ... minor.
Only other con cannot be helped by the owner ... Strong smell of cow manure is prevalent throughout the grounds (very rural area, we guess) and you can't really walk around the lake easily because there are geese droppings everywhere. You really have to watch where you step. But that is nature, and can't be helped.
It was a charming stay, and the owner of the condo was very pleasant to deal with. If we have a reason to go to, we would stay there again.
Glad that you and your family enjoyed the pool, amenities and our natural setting. Sorry that your timing coincided with a farmer deciding to fertilize his field and apparently the wind direction was also conspiring! That’s a rare occurrence, so when you come back, that shouldn’t be a problem (and we ll replace the hair dryer!)
Summer week with wife and 6 year old.
We spent 4 nights here in July. The weather was excellent. The lake was calm, and didn’t have too much boat traffic, which gave it a more personal feel.
The heated pool was a game changer with a 6 year old in tow. Having that just a few steps from the condo was excellent.
The condo was well stocked. We used the grill and laundry, which was very nice to have on site. The window fan kept the front bedroom nice and cool at night. The master had a fan as well, and we stayed comfortable as well.
My in-laws came up for a part of the stay, and the first floor location was very convenient for them.
We were pleasantly surprised with our trip, and could definitely see us coming back again.
Thank you Jim- glad that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward your return!
Rented this property because it was close to an event in Orleans and was on the lake. The place was very clean and worked out very well for what we needed it for..property mgr was very easy to get ahold of and responded to questions quickly..
Thanks Barry- Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that the accommodations worked out well for both couples. We look forward to having you back for your next golf tournament!
Excellent stay with very clean accommodations!
It was very clean and the gas stove kept the entire condo plenty warm enough even though the outside temperatures were around 0 degrees. Great location right on the lake so a great view. I would definitely stay again.
Thanks Keith, I’m glad you enjoyed the condo and that our cozy gas fireplace kept you warm in that cold spell! Thanks for being such a good guest and treating our vacation home like your own!
the house is clean, well maintained and we enjoyed our time here. Gas stove was a nice fireplace in the evening and it kept both bedrooms warm. Kids loved sitting by the window watching wildlife on the lake and playing games. We were skiing and snowshoeing and noticed that owners thought through drying shoes and clothes process (enough shoe trays and drying racks for a family).
So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay Eugene. Come back anytime-there’s plenty to do year round!
