Cabin # 1
Jak and his dad built these cabins together as a family project. Their love for construction and the outdoors inspired them to turn their little farm into an up north getaway to share with their friends and the public. Years later Jak's dad decided to move away and Jak and his wife Sara took it upon themselves to buy the farm and take over the cabins. Many updates are yet to come with one complete cabin renovation planned for cabin 1 in summer of 2018. Jak is a handyman/carpenter by trade and farmer at heart. Sara works for Fish and Wildlife and has an unparalleled love for the outdoors and Upper Peninsula wildlife.
Jak purchased this Cabin in 1993

Cozy little cabins
Awesome little getaway!
Excellent place to stay for snowmobiling
Great get away in the woods
Perfect for what we needed. Much better than staying in a hotel in town. Would definitely rent it again.
Cute A Frame
Very nice cabin and property. Real peaceful. Perfect for what we needed. Fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom necessities.
Super close to trails for atvs. The cabin had everything you needed. Very peaceful, and the owner is super nice !
Great adventure get-away!
Loved our stay in Cabin #1. We were 2 adults and 4 kids, and our medium sized dog . We felt at home with plenty of room. Great plowing of the parking area made for lots of playing in the snow piles. Door knob a bit tricky to work with, but other than that, we loved it. Made day trips to the Eben Ice Caves, Marquette for skiing and an evening visit to Munising. Definitely off the beaten path and an SUV/4WD was needed.
