Welcome to Engelhof Lodge located just thirty minutes north of Asheville NC. Step into a the perfect vacation rental that offers all the amenities and more to provide you with a comfortable, relaxing vacation. Inside, there are plenty of entertainment options to accommodate the whole family, with an elegant woood-burning fireplace settled under a mounted flat screen TV. Make sure to bring everyone downstairs to the game-room, where you'll find another large screen TV, a pool table and plenty of space for the entire group to play inside and out. There are two private decks. The main deck offers a large outside dining table to enjoy meals and play board games while you take in the cool mountain air and watch the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Enjoy the second space on the main level lounge area where you will find quality patio furniture and get cozy by the fir-pit while you embrace the Carolina Mountains right in front of you.

The lower level is where you will find the the luxury hot tub, mountain view, along with a custom made bar with seating for your family to gather and make lasting memories.

-Downstairs guest Queen bedroom: Beautiful furnishings, excellent mattress, Ensuite. View of the mountains.

- 1st Upper level guest Queen Bedroom: Comfortable bedding. This bedroom is located on the upper and offers french doors that open to a private balcony.

-2nd Upper level guest Queen Bedroom: Comfortable bedding, nice mattress and furnishings.

The upper level bathroom is located just steps from each guest room.

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.

GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

DOG fees are extra and NONREFUNDABLE The pet fee $100 is per pet per stay or $109.75 with taxes included. i.e. Any length stays with two dogs equals two pet fees plus taxes which is $219.50. Maximum of TWO dogs!! More than two dogs constitutes prior approval by the homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals. DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals allowed unless approved by homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals.

The following essentials will be provided for you to START your stay. We do not provide essential for your entire stay. This is just to start you off:

*Toilet Paper
*Trash Bags
*Dish Pods
*Coffee Maker
*Hand Soaps
*Dish Soap
*New Sponge
*Small Laundry Detergent
*Full Propane tank for gas grills

Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen.


This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.

PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.

CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.

SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.

FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.

NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
