Welcome to Travelers Rest!

A quiet and secluded neighborhood true to its name where homes are tucked away on large waterfront lots. Be prepared for frequent wildlife sighting including osprey, eagles, deer, rabbit, fox, and much more. A quiet, peaceful respite awaits your family at this beautiful waterfront home. The home boasts five bedrooms with two additional pullout sofas, sleeping 10 very comfortably.

Inside, enjoy the open floor plan living with comfortable areas for entertaining and lively discussion. Sit out by the sunroom and enjoy the sunrise and sunset-all while surrounded by the beauty of nature. The kitchen and bathrooms were recently upgraded to the owners according to their love for preparing gourmet meals.

Multiple fireplaces, open floorplan, and surrounding windows highlight your experience in the outdoors.

But the true beauty of this property is the environment surrounding the home. Enjoy the unique natural shoreline at the Tred Avon River while relaxing by the pool or outdoor fire pit. The dock comes with canoe and sailboat ready to easily launch off a floating dock. Fishing, crabbing, and dinghy gear is complementary. Bring your bikes to explore the secluded community.

Kids are welcome and be sure to enjoy the expansive book collection in the library, learn new games and many children's activities you'll find included in this warm home of a family of six. They are currently off on an adventure sailing the far seas and look forward to sharing their eastern shore retreat with your family!

travel with my crews

we had a business trip up in MD - had 8 guys up there with the owner of the company and everyone was very comfortable. The rental property let us know that the pool was closed, but it all worked out great cause the weather was awful. The property/house was fantastic for the 8 of us. Space wise and sleeping it was perfect. Thank you.

Great Place to Stay

My friends and family stayed here during Ironman weekend. Perfect house to stay at with a pool, beautiful views, and plenty of room throughout the house. I would return to this property again.

Lots of space

The property and location is beautiful. We were staying with two other couples and we all have a child under 2 so the size of the house was great. We never felt on top of each other. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. The two reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the smell of moth balls was unbearable. We bought a candle to try to get rid of the smell. Also, the furniture was lacking for the size of the house. The dining room had 4 chairs but clearly sat 6. There was no large couch to fit all the guests.

Great location for a golf getaway!

This property was perfect for a friends golf trip. We played Queenstown Harbor, River Marsh, and Renditions. The house easily accommodated eight adults and the amenities were wonderful. Will keep it in mind for future trips to the Eastern Shore.
