Exceeded Our Expectations!
My five best friends from high school and I decided to meet up in Breckenridge for a long weekend to celebrate our 60th birthdays.
We booked this property through VRBO and Daniel, the property manager, was prompt and thorough in his initial communications, answering questions we sent him within minutes.
The first thing we noticed when we walked through the front door was the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains from the wall of windows which cover the mountain side of the home.
The first floor has a spacious open floor plan, with kitchen, large dining table, a living room with a large screen TV, and a wrap around deck that offers plenty of seating.
With 6 bedrooms and bathrooms, including 2 master suites with big screen TVs and jacuzzis, the property had plenty of room for everyone to have their own private sleeping quarters and bathroom.
The home was in spotless condition inside and out, and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities we hadn't noticed when we booked the place, including a hot tub, a big screen TV in the living room with cable, wi-fi, a first-level game room with pool and foosball tables and another big-screen TV, and an exercise room with a treadmill, home gym and rowing machine, washer and dryer in the first-floor pantry, and a two-car garage.
The home came with a complete set of kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans and spices, as well as paper towels, toilet and tissue paper, linens, towels, dishwashing soap, shampoo, hand soap and deodorizer in all of the bathrooms.
The day before our arrival Daniel sent us a welcome email with all of the information we needed to gain entry into the home, and get a running start to our vacation.
On the first night the home alarm system went off in the middle of the night, and when we called Daniel, he responded within minutes with a code to disarm it. He also answered several other questions we had about the property within minutes of emailing him, and promptly returned our deposit the day we checked out.
The property and Daniel's service exceeded our expectations in every way. I would highly recommend both to even the most discerning traveler!
Plenty of space, great mountain views, just okay location
We had an overall positive stay with plenty of room and then some. The only major ding is the location and neighboring properties are not great and a bit of an eye sore. The pictures only show the mountains which is awesome, but there are some neighboring appartments/duplexes around that are an eye sore. There were a few issues with the house upon arrival, but Daniel was super responsive and got them fixed within hours. The property is managed well, just a little older/dated and in an area that is a little run down.
Need small TLC
Couldn't Ask for More
The Woodmoor house was a tremendous place for our family reunion of 6 families (2 of which have no children, 1 with 4 children, 2 with 3 children, and 1 one 2 children). We had plenty of space. Everyone slept pretty well. The mattresses are a little hard, but if you hike, bike, ski, or play hard during the day you should sleep very well. The available space in the kitchen, living room, family room, and dining room suited our group of 24 perfectly.
The only thing we were hoping for was a little bit of grass or play area outside for games. The pictures of the home are mainly all winter pictures especially the pictures of the outside so we couldn't tell by the pictures if there was space outside to play or not besides deck space.
What a wonderful place! The transportation through the bus system, trolleys, and gondolas are all free. Breckenridge is a great place for such a large gathering and because of the free transportation is very accessible and affordable.
Family Reunion in the Rockies
A truly spectacular view of the Rockies welcomed us as we entered this spacious and comfortable home. As a party of ten adults and four small children, we were able to eat meals at the enormous dining table, play games, watch movies, sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful sunsets, soak in the hot tub, play pool, or find quiet spot to read or take a nap. The kitchen easy to work in with plenty of counter space, dishes, and seating for all the demands of a large group.
The house is minutes from downtown and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was truly the perfect place to reconnect with family, go on hikes, ride the gondola, swim at the pool in town, ride the bike trail, or just sit back and enjoy each other’s company.
Thank you Daniel for always responding so quickly to our questions and being such a great host.
The Perfect Family Reunion Retreat
Beautiful home with amazing views. Check-In was effortless, the home was ready for us upon our arrival time. All the bedrooms are spacious. The Property Manger was very responsive, both pre-travel and during our stay. The location was ideal, far enough away from town to escape the touristy atmosphere, but close enough to venture into town for Food, Shopping, Trails, and the ski resort. Combine we had 6 separate households, with ages varying from 52 to 2. I highly recommend a day at the resort and taking advantage of the Adventure Pass (Summer visitors); it was worth every penny. Daniel, thank you for making our 2nd biennial family vacation a hit!
