Why Nancy Baransky chose Indian Beach
Some of our best vacations that we had either as a coupe or a family have been on the outerbanks of North Carolina. The friendliness of the people you meet here is noticeable and we appreciated it. This home represents the culmination of a long journey for us and we hope to make some beautiful family memories for ourselves and our guests. This part of the island was so unique that we just wanted to have something we could share and passed down to our children and their families.
What makes this House unique
The spacious feel of the rooms of this house and all the amenities that it has made us fall in love with it. The ocean access, private pool, huge open floor plan kitchen, dining area and family room as well as the large bedrooms makes this home a terrific place to be comfortable whether you want private space or get together in a large group. We placed 3 piece conversation sets on both decks to allow guests to mingle or be alone. The gas grill on the 3rd floor deck will be appreciated by people who enjoy outdoor cooking. The house has a TV in every bedroom and a game room on the first floor. There is WIFI in the house as well as phone service with unlimited US service.

Our family had a great time at the property! The kids and everyone really enjoyed the pool and the close access to the beach. We did a lot of fishing off the beach and caught Black Drum, SeaTrout, Pampano, Whiting and Puppy Drum that we took back and grilled at the house. The owners had great communication as we arrived right after Hurricane Dorian and had to work through some logistics.
We LOVED our stay at the Dancing Dolphin! Everything was exactly as promised. The location is so beautiful and private. My family absolutely loved the pool and access to the beach was a very short walk down the private walkway. We also liked the reverse floor plan because we were able to enjoy an ocean view from the living room, dining room, kitchen area and having an elevator made it so easy to go from floor to floor with ease. Check in and check out was extremely easy and Orest and Nancy were very easy to get in touch with at all times and addressed any concerns or questions we had IMMEDIATELY! This is a great rental! Would definitely rent again in the future.
Great spacious family vacation house
As many others have stated this home is perfect for more than one family. The beach access is great and the private pool was relaxing after a day on the beach. Everything you could need was in this house. The only recommendation I have is a new mattress in the middle level master bedroom. I highly recommend staying at Damcin Dolphin.
Hi it was a pleasure having you. FYI we found out what the problem was. Both box springs were broken on the king size bed. We bought them last year so I am having them replaced today. The bed should be fine then. We can only speculate what happen but very strange to say the least.
Ideal Beach Home
What a fantastic beach home! Everything was perfect, from the location, to the amenities and, of course, the house. We enjoyed Emerald Isle very much. Nancy and Orest are lovely and helpful hosts.
Close enough to the beach--not exactly beach front--but a couple minute walk down a private boardwalk to the beach. The pool ended up being a lifesaver as the beach was too rough for littles. Not sure if the beach has always been this way or if the recent hurricanes changed the shoreline, but the waves crashed right on the shore and the water got deep quickly. The water was rough most of the time and not good for boogie boarding. Despite the rough beach conditions, we really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend a trip to shark tooth island--a 1/2 hours drive and then a quick kayak trip on the sound side.
Summer Vacation 2019
We had a great time at Emerald Isle. The house was definitely equipped with everything needed for the week from cooking to entertainment. I only have one negative comment. The house was not as clean as it should have been. They could definitely use a new cleaning service.
I appreciate your concerns. To be fair to the cleaning service, the vacuum cleaner broke just before you got there and I had to replace the machine. Normally they do a great job. They did come back the next day and took care of the floors .
Our Property is in a quiet area in between Emerald Isle Center and the center of Atlantic Beach. It is close enough to enjoy either and far enough away that you can enjoy peace, solitude and privacy.
The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is 3.2 miles away by car and is part of the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area. From the mountains to the sea… Feel the spray of a mountain waterfall. Watch river otters play. Touch a stingray. Look a shark in the eye. Explore shipwrecks — without getting wet. See a rare white sea turtle. Thousands of aquatic animals take you on a journey from the state’s grand peaks to the open Atlantic, much as a raindrop makes its way to the ocean.
