Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms on the Farm near the Mountains
About Nicole Thorn
Surrounded by mountains, a few fuzzy black cows, and numerous chickens, nothing offers me the quietude and peacefulness of arriving home to the farm. My husband and I, although still busy professionals, cherish our small farm and the life we have built here. Originally developed as a two-family farm, we have converted the farmhouse to a place for guests to come and share in what we consider to be a little corner of God's country.

Secluded mountain getaway
Enjoyed my stay in this charming farmhouse.
A peaceful retreat with a cozy home and inviting backyard!
Absolutely everything we could has asked for, except we all three wished we had a longer stay. We are hoping to do this again in March, but for more days!
Secluded Mountain Getaway
What a great spacious place with farm fresh eggs, cows, chickens, and a donkey! A nice book full of information about the property was left for us which was very helpful. The owner was very responsive with questions and allowed an early check in. We enjoyed the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the back deck, as well as the patio. The animals seemed to know when we around and came closer which was really cool. I gave 4 stars for location/neighborhood only due to the super long twisty gravel driveway and the lack of walking areas (most of the area was off limits and I like to take walks).
Great property and fantastic hosts! We had plenty of room. The landscaping was beautiful.. Nichole, Ken and Amy, thanks for the hospitality,
We spent three nights here at this lovely farmhouse. It was adorably decorated and well stocked, including some personal items. The outdoor area was charming with rockers to look out over the landscaped gardens and Koi pond. And a well cared for hot tub for relaxing. We saw no farm animals except a few chickens in the chicken coop. And other than a few visits from deer in the pastures we were alone. Very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed exploring the area. The D-Day Memorial was especially memorable. I would say it surpassed any Memorial I have ever seen including those in Washington D.C. Other things that were close by were Jefferson’s Popular Forest, Peaks of Otter State Park, and Natural Bridge State Park. We enjoyed them all. We did not do as well with the eating establishments in the area. All local spots are closed on Sunday and at random other times during the week. But the kitchen in the house has plenty of supplies to cook in along with two electric grills outside and a lovely out door eating area. Great place for a get away!
