Beautiful and Peaceful. Quite the Adventure
Water taxi , Hiking the Jungle to Chimos
And Alfonso’s cooking were all highlights. The chair broke on me and I fell to the floor but wasn’t hurt. Crabs crawling on our bed at night . All part of the Adventure
Hello! I’m so sorry about the chair and I’m
glad you are okay. Which one was it? The dining table chairs are very solid but the little string slingback chairs could be more delicate. Those little crabs are crazy, aren’t they? I’ve never had one in the bed and glad you saw the adventure of it! We are co-existing in the jungle and it’s filled with delightful surprises!
Pure paradise! Dos Mules was much more than We could every image! Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend this palaypa! Thank you Pam and John!!!
This place truly is bliss. If you want to get away from it all (no service, no internet) and simply relax and listen to the waves, rent this beautiful little palapa house. It is an ideal place to honeymoon, write, recover from injury or illness, etc. After being in the bustle of Puerto Vallarta, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the people there, crowded on their beach chairs, saying "no gracias" to vendors 100 times a day. For three days, we lay on a beach almost entirely to ourselves, watched whales through our binoculars, hiked to Chimo to buy lobster to cook in the Dos Mulas kitchen, and read books on the day bed. The waves were too high to swim or snorkel when we visited, but as we were leaving it calmed and we could see that it would have been excellent had we been able to do either. Thank you for sharing this place - we feel truly lucky to have spent time there. We would have stayed a lot longer and possibly will do just that sometime in the future.
Thank you, Mara. We’re so glad you had a great time! The sea changes all the time—the whales frolic in a strong ocean—then the waters calm & it’s great for swimming, kayaking & snorkeling. We hope to see you in the future. We’re offering 2 extra days free when you book 5 days — a full week for the price of 5 days. Cheers! Pamela & John
Dos Mulas was very comfortable, beautiful and well maintained.
We stayed at Dos Mulas for four nights. The palapa was well maintained and very lovely. Everything we needed for our stay was there including cooking utensils, very nice snorkeling gear for two people, comfortable beds, nice furniture and, of course, the ocean just outside. We fell asleep every night to the gently sounds of the ocean waves. I would highly recommend this palapa if your vacation takes you to Los Chonchos.
Thank you staying! We’re so glad you had a good time and look forward to hosting you again.
