Fantastic

The house (villa) was fantastic. We loved the art and the kitchen was very good equipped. The view is stunning and the pool really great. Pity that we only were there for 1 week.

Incredible house in the hills above the Mediterranean coast

We spent an incredible week in the house this July. The house is a wonderful retreat in the hills. One can’t see another house from the terrace, just rolling green hills all the way down to the coast. It’s a long, steep driveway up from the main road, so it’s very secluded. Behind the house are steep cliffs reaching up into the mountains, providing an impressive backdrop. There is plenty of hiking with ocean views in and around Tourettes-sur-Loup, and trails have varying degrees of difficulty. The wrap around porch of the house is great for yoga and meditation. Aude and Wilfried took wonderful care of us during our stay. The house is beautiful and has a great art collection up on the walls. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we spent much of our time going to farmers markets in nearby villages and cooking feasts up at the house. There are several outdoor seating areas, including down by the pool. The pool was heated and comfortable even after cool nights. The garden is full of lavender and rosemary bushes and we would watch dragonflies and butterflies circle the pool. There were four adult couples in our party, and the house worked very well for us. Two rooms have their own bathrooms and the other two share a third bathroom. Tourettes-sur-Loup is a ten minute drive along the main road. The village has a wine store, a butcher, (at least) two bakeries, several vegetable stores, and a farmers market on the main square. There are several restaurants and cafes for those who like to eat out. Within a short drive there are Vence and Grasse, two larger nearby towns with additional services. The closest beach is about 30 minutes away, though we ended up spending most of our beach days along the Corniche D’Or, exploring the various little beaches in the secluded coves along the coast. It took about an hour to get there. We all miss the house already and cannot wait to return.

Great house and amazing views

We stayed a week at Aude’s place, and it was just amazing. You can spend hours just looking at all the artwork around the house. We were two families, and had plenty of room for everyone. You can enjoy the pool, or take a 8 min drive to the nearby village of Tourette Sur Loup, which is super charming and has everything you need. I can highly recommend staying here 👍☀️👍

Wonderful house, excellent location, friendly hosts

Very nice house with wonderful view, nice swimming pool and excellent facilities. Owners of the house received us warmly, gave adequate explanation about everything in the house. Excellent and modern facilities, inside as well as outside the house. Bottom line: highly recommended.
