A room with a view

Our stay at Mr. de France’s property was wonderful. He is an attentive host. We felt most welcome. The sounds of the birds chirping, the distinct and delightful view from each window. The apartment is perfectly outfitted with everything one might need. After a day of visiting the sights: Pierrefonds, Compiegne, Soissons, Chantilly, Paris ... arriving back to the tranquil park and apartment felt wonderful. We will certainly return again. Merci!

Third visit to a very special place.

Very relaxing return visit to a wonderful, spotless and very well equipped property. Ideally situated close to many chateaux and cathedral towns and pleasant drives into the Compiegne Forest. Days out to Champagne region and the area around Epernay for Champagne tours are easy from this property. Thank you again for a marvellous stay.

Chateau, dogs, peace and quiet

We enjoyed our stay at Croutoy, the host was friendly and helpful, and our kids loved the two dogs. The house does need a bit of a do-over, but the beds are comfortable and everything was cleaned. The many books were an absolute joy to browse, and the silence is precious.

A wonderful holiday in a lovely house

Everything was perfect. We stayed at this lovely place for 10 days. The house was exactly as described; a nice gem in a wonderful area on a beautiful estate. We were welcomed by the owner, Mr. Guillain de France. Communication with Guillian was easy and fast. Compiègne is the nearest city with a lot of things to do (shopping, culture, etc.) and the castle in Pierrefonds is recommended as well. A day trip to Paris can be done easily by train (about 50 minutes from Compiègne ). Supermarkets are nearby, about 5-10 minutes by car. It was a pity that the holiday period ended after 10 days because we could have stayed here much longer!

prachtige accommodatie in een zeer rustige omgeving

Enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het rustige Couroy, met tal van bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving (soms iets verderweg, maar met de auto geen probleem). Supervriendelijke ontvangst van de eigenaars, en werkelijk alles was aanwezig.
