Really enjoyed our stay
Our first visit to the Dordogne. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. We will definitely return at some stage. Our only suggestion would be that there is some notification somewhere of things like the WiFi code and password which I had to contact the owner to find out where to look for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - really easy access to the town but away from the crowds.
Cottage stay
We were very impressed with the cottage. Two markets during our five day stay - Saturday general and the Wednesday food market is impressive. The walk into the ancient city is just a few minutes long and many historic sites within a short drive. Excellent accommodation.
Ideal in every way
Not a lot I can add that hasn't already been said. The location can't be beat - less than 5 min walk via footpath to ţhe centre of town. Two nicely furnished terraces in the front and
rear of the house. Lots of room on the main and upper floors and ţhe thick walls keep the temperature inside pleasant. We really appreciated the large, fully-equipped kitchen also. Parking is on site and easy to get in/out of town.
The owner was very helpful and has really gone out of her way to make this as carefree a stay as possible.

Conveniently, there were things like dishwasher tablets and salt available. Very comfortable house, nic view over town and 10 mins walk to the centre. Clean and cosy.
Magical!
We had a fabulous stay in Sarlat at the Longere de Desmouret. It’s a lovely, adorable, well-equipped cottage in a perfect location! Absolutely magical! We loved it and we will be back!!!

Clean, cute, great location
The location is hard to beat. The brief walk to town was great, yet it was so quiet at night. Rooms had enough space and fans worked great at night. Would not mind a king sized bed in one room.
