We were visiting from North Carolina with my 94 year old mother who is from Wells. Had a great time visiting all her grandchildren. Beautiful grounds to walk with your dog.
Scenic property with starry views.
Perfect home for our Fall get away. The telescope was a nice addition. No light pollution and the sky view was magnificent. It was a new experience for our grandson.
The kitchen is very well equipped so we chose to cook and eat in every night.
All combined with a fire in the fireplace, it was a great place to relax and reconnect.
We will absolutely be back.
A beautiful secluded spot with gorgeous views and the house have everything needed for a great stay. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful house with gorgeous views
We loved staying at the Rye Chalet and will definitely rent it the next summer we are in VT. We vacation in VT almost every summer and used to rent the same house every time. For several years that house has not been for rent and we have been staying at other VRBO houses. None of them measured up to the views of the former rental u,til now. The photos of the interior of the chalet do not do it justice. It is much better in person. Also, the house was very clean. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the house. Thank you!
Thank you for your incredible review. Your words mean a lot to us. I love your comment, “the photos of the interior of the chalet don’t do it justice. It is much better in person.” Because it’s only when we see the home in person do we see it’s built and maintained with love. Thank you for being our guest and please, yes, please visit us again.
May i ask you to like us on Facebook? We’re always posting for our friends and family.
Thank you again for a lovely review ⛰🎁❤️
Beautiful home and neighborhood. Owner and manager very helpfu
Great Long Weekend
We were down in the area for to attend the VT NH Shrine football game in Castleton and had several family members attending. The house and property were perfect for this with 3 seperate bedrooms. One thing we noticed immediately was how quiet it is, especially at night. Hang out on the deck and relax and enjoy.
The house has just about everything you will need. Check in was easy. Thanks again for a great stay.
Hope you can come back, Peter. We have a 10% Friends & Family discount for great guests like you.
