A perfect weekend away
Irene really makes this cottage from a quaint cottage in the woods to a perfect weekend away. All of her small touches make it so much more then just a cottage. When we arrived Irene made sure the lights were on and the heat was running. It was a beautiful cottage, we really enjoyed our stay.
It was great!
This cottage was exactly as it's in the photos. Very calm and serene surroundings. Irene kept it very clean. Very private and has all you need from internet to washer dryer. Irene is very nice host. Will definitely come back!
Lovely Cottage Perfect for Two
When we arrived, there was almost 9 inches of unexpected snow on the ground. Irene had the cottage completely ready for us - wood by the door and both the heat and lights were on. This location, at the end of a very quiet street right on a canal trail, the layout (everything you need), the lovely view of fields, creek and canal, the cozy fireplace - all were amazing. We completely enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a nice two person getaway - if you are trying to decide between places, choose this one!
Relaxing, lovely cottage.
Was not that difficulty to find cottage . Irene the owner gave us good directions and called when arrived to make sure we didn't need anything and we were OK. A very nice host! It was so clean ,and loads of natural light. Such a cozy place. Planning to go back in the future and take more hikes and explore more. We hiked around Lake Minewaska, very pretty. Had great BBQ at Outpost BBQ, also took a short ride to Angry Orchard and walked around the Orchard & bought a couple limited edition ciders ( didn't feel like standing in long line for free flight samples ) and even heard some great live music in the cider garden. More to see if we had another day or two.
Perfect escape from the city!
The cottage is quiet and peaceful and we were actually sad to leave it. Can't wait to visit again.
Private charming cottage !
The cottage was light and airy, clean and very charming! The deck off the back of the cottage was private with amazing views. A great place to kick off your shoes take in the beauty and relax.
The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage and a queen size comfortable bed with nice linens. You are also provided with great plush towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal. The only item missing for us was a frying pan.
Irene was a gracious host and we would highly recommend her enchanted cottage to anyone looking for a private, quiet getaway.
Glenn and Annamaria were wonderful guests who appreciated the cottage and cared for it as if it were their own. I'm glad that they enjoyed their stay and am only sorry that I had not pointed out that the frying pans and bakeware were in the stove drawer. Mea culpa.
