While there were just the two of us staying in property we had a very pleasant stay and will certainly look to return in the future. The whole booking and 'greeting' process was simple and having good quality parking almost adjacent to the premises made things as simple as they could be.
The property is well appointed and comfortable and the large balcony perfect for eating outside while looking over the roof tops. The property is as described on the site.
Situated just a short walk from the historic centre of Vannes and then down to the harbour meant that everything you could want was within easy reach.
We would certainly return to th property when next in the area - thank you Gascon.

Best Place to Stay in Vannes!!
Our family of 6 absolutely loved this apartment in Vannes! It is in an amazing spot, 1 block from the beginning of the Old City Center. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants, quaint grocery stores, Vannes Cathedral, the Vannes Ramparts (the wall and gardens surrounding the old city), and the Place Henri IV (this is a time travel experience, walking in this cobble stoned square. Unbelievable.).
We were able to make day trips to Auray, Gulf du Morbihan, the megalithic stones of Carnac (a definite must-see), Saint-Cado (an 1100 AD Church and fishing village), and Port Louis (visiting the Citadel). Each of these sites were amazing!
The apartment is a very nice size. There is one nice sized bedroom on the main floor with access to the balcony and an attached bathroom and nice waterfall shower. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms with twin beds which can be placed separate or together to make a king sized bed. In the upstairs hallway is another bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies to make meals. Dishwasher and washer and dryer for laundry is available, which was very helpful.
The apartment is on the 4th floor, and the apartment has an elevator which can fit about 4 people comfortably, or you can run up the stairs. The view from the wrap-around balcony is very nice. Beautiful to see the Cathedral all lit up at night. We rented a minivan for our group, and were appreciative of the parking available to this unit, which is kitty-corner across the street. I was worried, reading a prior review regarding the small parking spots, but we had absolutely no problems parking a mini-van and found that only about 1/2 the parking spots were utilized during our time there.
We came to Vannes from the United States, to visit the city of our ancestors. We received some wonderful help from the Vannes Archives Department, and learned some new information about our family, located one of the ancestral homes that has been perfectly maintained along with grave-sites of relatives. Upon departure, we found out from Gascon that we had been looking in the direction of this ancestral home, from the balcony, all week! Amazing!
The Owner, Gascon, was very accommodating and friendly, meeting us upon arrival and departure. We will definitely recommend this place to our relatives who may also want to make the trip over from the United States, to experience the beautiful city of our ancestors!
