This cottage is a cottage near the forest and close to all amenities. You enjoy the view and a fabulous atmosphere, birds singing and the sound of water from the waterfall below the flower garden ... make it an ideal place for rest and relaxation. This stone cottage, has 2 bedrooms, a nice bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a living room with a comfortable sofa and TV (French channels) and wifi, a kitchen with a large bay window opening a large terrace with a beautiful view which is the great strength of this house. Romantic, decor is studied for a soft and cozy atmosphere. Calheta Beach is 4 km and the first levada is 1 km walk through a path winding through the eucalyptus forest.

Beautiful, quiet place for relaxation and outdoor activities

The house is located on a beautiful, very local and quiet area of Calheta. It is way up the hill, so views are spectacular but you need a car as walking to store, cafes, restaurants is too much given the altitude. The place was really clean, modern, with beautiful garden. Kitchen is compact with quite limited supply of equipment but enough if you are not planning to make five course meals during your stay. There is nearby Levada trail if you start walking upwards to the mountain. Recommend taking that, despite the initial climbing it is worth it.

Séjour dans le gite Éden

Nous avons passé presque 3 semaines dans le gîte Éden, chez Nathalie et Patrice et ce fut un superbe séjour ! L’emplacement est idéal, sur les hauteurs avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse du gîte, le jardin ou la piscine. Le gîte est très confortable et décoré avec goût. Il est très facile de visiter toute l’île depuis cette base. Nathalie et Patrice sont très accueillants et nous ont donné de très bons conseils de visites, de balades et de restaurants. Je recommande sans réserve !

Ein sehr hübsches Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet, umgeben von einem wundervollen Garten

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Jardin des Anges sehr genossen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse über die Hügel bis zum Meer ist faszinierend. Der Garten ist einfach ein Traum, eine Explosion von Farben und Düften. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist originell, eine gelungene Kombination von alt und neu.

Bien équipé, confortable, propre, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. De la terrasse le point de vue sur l'océan laisse rêveur. Le jardin est bien fleuri, bien arboré et surtout entretenu avec beaucoup de passion. Fleurs exotiques, vignes, falaises vertigineuses et rochers volcaniques offrent une variété inégalée de couleurs et de paysages qui font de l'île un vrai jardin flottant. Bref, tout est fait pour que le séjour soit une découverte et vous laisse un souvenir impérissable. Donc n'hésitez pas, je vous le recommande.

le vrai madère

un séjour réussi grâce à Sandrine qui nous a bien guidés, autant dans la préparation des visites que sur les points où l'on aurait pu se faire piéger. Il est bien pratique d'avoir une personne française qui connaisse aussi bien l'île. la maison était au delà de nos attentes. des voisins madériens qui ne semblent pas posséder grand chose, et qui nous ont très bien accueuillis eux aussi avec de petits cadeaux simples (pommes de terre, bananes). je recommande fortement cette adresse.
