About this property

Located opposite the DESCARTES museum, we offer you to rent an old house / apartment including:
On the ground floor: a kitchen-dining room, a living room, a toilet, a cellar.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, one with a 140 bed and a 90 bed, a bathroom and a toilet.
There is no garden, this house is not made for our animal friends.
The Tourist office car park is 30m from the house.
In the city center, you will find restaurants, shops, cinema, leisure center, stadium, museum and tourist office.
From Descartes you can visit Richelieu, La Roche Posay and its CASINO with restaurant, games rooms, dance hall and cultural events, you will also find a spa center there.
The BEAUVAL ZOO, the FUTUROSCOPE, the BODIN'S, as well as the new CENTER PARC are only 50 'from DESCARTES.
The city of TOURS with its museum, its cathedral, its theater, its old districts, its restaurants, Place Plumereau and all its café terraces, will take you on a journey from antiquity to today.
In the region you can visit a large number of castles, cellars and vineyards, you can dance in our taverns at the water's edge.
A deposit check of € 300 and another € 70 for cleaning (optional) will be requested and returned on the day of departure after the inventory.

Value for money, three double bedroomed accommodation.

The property is conveniently placed in a good central location, opposite the Museum, with plenty of easy car parking. It is comfortable, clean and tidy and represented very good value for money. We visited the town market on Sunday morning and sat outside at one of the many bistro/bars drinking coffee and watching the world go by in the Autumn sunshine! A superb restaurant we went to in Descartes, Restaurant L'Assiette Creuse. Excellent food, lovely friendly staff, can't recommend it highly enough. Another day out we visited a Chateau, Azay-le-Rideau, with beautiful gardens. A trip to a vineyard Earl Paris - Simoneau, St. Georges-sur-Cher, near Chenonceau, brilliant selection of gifts etc and very conveniently one of the friendly staff spoke English!!
