The house is located 15 minutes from Bonifacio and 25 minutes from Porto-Vecchio, in the hamlet of Pianotolli: Caldarello, in a wild and protected environment, on the harbor. The famous beaches of Pianottoli is well established as their beauty is famous. We also discover the nature reserve Bruzzi. Sartène is only 30 minutes.
This new stone house of 85 m2 for 4 persons, offers a view of the Gulf of Figari and Sardinia and even on the Genoese tower of the 16th Pianottoli historical monument. It offers every comfort with a neat decoration: outdoor jacuzzi, terrace, air conditioning in every room, plancha, WiFi access, TV ...
The main entrance to the house is located in a cave with a corner table bistro. Features of this house is its many windows that give the impression of living outside even while being inside.
RC, are the main room with an open, modern fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator ...), a utility room with washing machine, separate toilet, bedroom with 2 beds of 90 may be combined with a mattress pad 180 and shower room overlooking the main terrace with large table.
Upstairs, a master bedroom with terrace and deck view over the sea, on the Omu di Cagna and Figari airport, shower and toilet. The sunrises are spectacular.

Exquisite house in a formidable island

We had an amazing time in this property. The house is very clean, confortable and exquisitely decorated. You can definitely see the attention to details that came with building the plans and every item of the house. The house has all the needed appliances for a great vacation, and also a parking spot which definitely comes in handy. Location wise, it's in a quiet village in South Corsica that has quick car access to a lot of great spots (Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, and a lot of quiet beaches in between...). For this location, I would recommend a car since Corsica is a bit hilly and the weather is "warm" :) You have a few planes a day coming in that you can hear and see but it's not a major inconvenience given the frequency and timing in the day. Also, we felt very welcome there and had a great contact with the owners throughout the process. You can definitely feel the love the family put in the house and their passion for the island. Our conversation were in French since I'm French but I'm convinced they would do a great job in English as well and they talked with my in-laws who travelled from the US. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Hébergement très cher pour la saison, fin septembre. Le check-in initial était fixé à 17h alors qu'Expédia mentionnait 15h. Notre avion atterrissait à 10h. L'hébergeur n'est pas commode, j'ai reçu un mail d'une page de sa part très virulent la veille de notre départ qui n'avait que nenni du handicap de mon épouse. Ils ont quand même accepté le check-in à 15h, mais par contre pas de tolérance pour le check-out à 10h. Le logement était vraiment bien, la vue est magnifique avec un peu de bruit de la route et des avions, mais globalement nous ne regrettons pas notre choix grâce à l'aide précieuse de notre ami Corse. "L'humain doit toujours primer sur le côté financier, ne jamais l'oublier en tant que commerçant".

Excellent house - the best we've rented so far

When we go on vacation we prefer renting a decent house in a good location, cater ourselves and stay for 1-2 weeks to explore the area. Let me start with the communication at first. This went all fine even though I don't speak French. But English works, and Google Translate can help to. When we arrived the father of the owners welcomed us and guided us around. If you don't speak French, this gets a bit complicated. But all fine. The house was super clean - and it is exactly as shown in the pictures. Nothing is made up. It is the best decorated place I have ever seen. The terrace is great as are the rooms. Everything is high quality. The beds are excellent. To us, this is really important. And I have to mention that the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever head (only a decently sized slicing/cutting board is missing). The kitchen is actually better equipped than our own at home. The only tiny downside is the proximity of Figari airport. At least on the weekends in August you'll have up to almost 100 flight movements where half of them pass by in nice visibility from the terrace and the hot tub. We got used to that but for some people this may play a role. We enjoyed our stay a lot - thanks!!
