Great Lake House
The property was in a great location!!! Relaxing and enjoyable. The house was well maintained and has all the amenities required to make the stay comfortable like a home away from home.
Access to the lake and kayaks were great. The house seemed to be about 30 minutes from everything. Easy access to Burlington, Middlebury, breweries, food, etc! Great launching point to enjoy everything Vermont has to offer or just a lot f down time near the lake!
Better Than Expected!
This house was perfect! The pictures do not do its charm justice! We had everything we needed and ample space for our large family! The only negative was the number of mosquitoes that tried to join us! (no fault of the owners!) The owner did provide citronella torches and bug spray which helped! Bill and Dee came down the first day to introduce themselves and allowed us access to their kayaks! Thanks for a great stay!
Thank you for your kind review! The summer weather is perfect and the Lake temperature over 70!
Visit us again sometime.

Comfortable house, attentive hosts!
Dee's Lake House is a wonderful place. It was perfect for our family of 5. It's very close to the water and our hosts provided kayaks and a canoe for us to take out. There is a rocky beach there. When we visited the water level was low and there were some plants to wade through. But it is ideal for boating, either on the kayaks/canoes or for guests who bring their own boat. It's a great location for a short drive to Shelburne or Burlington, and nice bike riding. My kids enjoyed the use of the association tennis court and playground. Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful!
Thank you for your kind summary of the Lake House!
Wonderful Camp and Location
We really like the camp and it’s layout. Everyone could have their space or hang out as a group easily. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck or sitting in the chairs in front of camp. The owners were very responsive to our needs.
We sat down by the water front every evening watching the sunset. Kayaked every day, explored the area visiting Mt. Philo, Rokeby, Vergennes and Burlington.
Very kind words.
Please come again!

Wonderful vacation rental for extended families!
A warm, welcoming and well-equipped home that comfortably housed 3 couples and a baby. The views are lovely, the deck is a wonderful place to socialize (at length) on, and the owners - who live on the street - are responsive and friendly! We hope to have an opportunity to return.
Dee and I enjoyed watching this family enjoy the Lake House and the beauty of Long Point. We would welcome them back anytime!
Perfect summer getaway on Lake Champlain
What a great value for the rental dollar. Not being overly familiar with the area we were a little concerned that it seemed so far away from everything - but it really isn't. The access to Lake Champlain was excellent and the owners have another home a few houses away...had the chance to meet them; real wonderful folks. House was plenty spacious and offered everything we needed. It was a very humid week with a lot of rain, so it got to be pretty warm inside the house - thank goodness it cooled off at night. Bedrooms were large and the mudroom was great for keeping wet shoes out of the house. Home is in a really close knit lake community and the neighbors were all super friendly. Just a real enjoyable place to vacation. The beds are much better than most rental homes we've ever stayed at. There is a good mix of beds, so you may want to try them out and rotate accordingly. The master bedroom's bed was softer, the other 2nd floor bedroom bed was extra firm. The singles downstairs were good for the kids. The 2 bathrooms was GREAT with a family of 6. Owners allowed us to use rowboat and canoes, which was a lot of fun for the kids. Internet access was a nice bonus for the really rainy days. We'd rent this home again...just enjoyed the area.
