Real haven of peace - located 10 minutes from Epernay and 30 minutes from Reims, this cottage is VENTEUIL, in the heart of the vineyards of the Marne Valley. Ideal to stay with family or friends, you will be welcomed with a smile and champagne. In addition, Claudy will offer you a free tour of his cellars and his domain, CHAMPAGNE REDEMPTION, easy access, just in front.
A deposit of 650 € will be requested upon your arrival at the cottage, then returned on your departure, for the smooth running of this stay.

Excellent gîte in heart of Champagne country

Very nice house, especially in summer when outdoor seating and dining is possible. Very quiet for sleeping. Superb view of the surrounding Champagne vineyards. Claudy is a fine host and offers a free bottle of Champagne from her own cultivation upon arrival. We'll be glad to return.

30-60 Celebration

I chose this location because I wanted to have a vineyard experience(similar to what we have had in Napa) and have a spacious place for my wife and I. The Gite has room for a group and is very clean. The owner, Claudy, is a generous and friendly person. One great thing, is the refrigerator came with a selection of Claudy's various champagne products priced very reasonably and are very good! The surrounding town is small (as are many of the towns in the region) and the local Boulangerie has great food! One thing we enjoy is trying the local champagne houses, make sure to start early to set appointments, drop ins are not so common as in Napa for example. We found the outdoor patio to be a great area to relax. The internet service was reliable and fast. The larger cities(Reims, Damery and Epernay) were close by. The recommendations Claudy had for eating were excellent. The vistas from the town and the Gite are idyllic. One place we found as a unique experience was the Perch Bar, try it out(its a 45 minute drive). If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere, quiet location, and a clean roomy place to stay this is the spot.
