Wonderful apartment for all ages!
This ground floor apartment was wonderful for our 8 night stay in Paris. We were a group of 4--me, my mother and my two elementary aged daughters. We had a friend and her daughter join us for the weekend and it comfortably held all 6 of us. The location in Montparnasse was convenient especially to 2 Metro stops and a few bus lines. There was a grocery store and bakeries practically across the street. Two of the bedrooms face the street and were slightly noisy but the street is not a heavily traveled one. Sometimes the neighbors were noisy, sometimes we didn't hear them at all. The weather was too cold for us to enjoy the small patio area outside, but it looked wonderful. (Such is Paris in April!) The layout was counter-intuitive and "strange," but there was lots of space and we didn't feel on top of each other. The bathroom was spacious and had a tub/shower, sink with a lot of counter space, and a washer/dryer in one. The toilet was separate, as is common. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups and silverware, but there were no "condiments" like salt and pepper available. The owners were extremely responsive, very welcoming and helped us at check out with finding a taxi when there were none available. We would definitely stay here again!
