Improve internal tram shuttle schedule

The property was, for the most part, very good. My primary complaint was the random schedule of the internal tram transport system. The various rules for visiting restaurants, the beach, etc. were also confusing and overly ridgid.

Beautiful Terrace View

I spent 4 days here. Place was spotless clean and house amenities top notch. The owner, Jorge, communicated well and addressed all of my concerns. The 3rd floor terrace view over the pool and Robert Trent Jones golf course was spectacular. Perfect for a single and couples.

Great Stay!!!

Totally enjoyed our stay. Jorge has a nicely decorated, well equipped condo and is a very accommodating host. The condo's good sized patio overlooks the 7th hole of the Riviera Maya Golf Course. The property has an elevator, beautiful pool area with a shared outdoor BBQ and decent gym, all of which are quiet, immaculately manicured and super clean. We have no negative comments. We rented a car at the airport in Cancun which we would definitely do again. No hassles and no issues driving in the area. Chedraui Supermarket in Puerto Adventuras is a wonderful grocery store. You could take the Collectivo bus but a taxi may be a bit expensive as it's about a 20 - 25 minute drive. Would totally do this over the all-inclusive options in Bahia Principe resort. If you wish you can buy one meal or full day passes for the all-inclusives in the resort. Included with the condo rental you get a wrist band that offers the free shuttle transportation within the resort and access to the beach area at the Tulum section of the resort. I should also mention that as a guest of a condo owner in the complex you can purchase a punch card for 10 rounds of golf for a reasonable price which includes cart. You can share it between your group (we were a foursome although I thought they may have mentioned that it could only be shared by two golfers we did get them to punch all four of us on the last card we purchased). Overall we can't say enough good about our stay and would totally recommend and totally stay again. Mucho Gracias Jorge!!!

Beautiful condo, but on our own.

The condo was beautiful and the location, short of beach front, was ideal. However, we had many questions on how things worked and no information was provided and no contact information was provided other than thru vrbo, which we did not have access to. We have rented condos in the same area many times and have always been provided a great deal more information up front. There was no check in process, we were given the unit # and lockbox code, but only when I asked for that much info the week before our trip. Everything else we were left to figure out on our own. Thankfully we have stayed in the same area before and knew quite a bit already about the shuttles and how to get to the beach, etc. I point out a few things not to be a whiner, but to try and help the owner/manager improve the renter experience. 1. When we arrived there was no bag in the garbage can and we could not find any. This would not have been a problem before this year as we stopped for groceries on the way down. However Mexico apparently banned plastic grocery bags this year which left us with a cart full of groceries and nothing to hold them. We did have a couple plastic bags in our luggage that we were able to use for garbage. 2. We were not told anything about maid service. After a few days without we figured there was none, which doesn't bother us too much as we clean up after ourselves pretty good. However we were only provided a total of two bath towels for 8 days, which is a little skimpy. There was a washing machine and we were going to use it to wash the towels after 4 days, but when we got back from the beach that afternoon a maid had been there with fresh towels, and as a bonus the garbage can had a fresh bag in it. 3. This was the first condo we have rented that did not provide bottled water. So we drank and used tap water with no ill effects. It's just something many renters would be wary of and is pretty standard practice. On our third night there was a thunderstorm and the electricity went out, but only for a minute, no big deal. A bigger deal was we had no running water the rest of the night and no idea why, electricity and water are not usually linked. We were planning to move to another location the next day if water was not restored, but it was. 4. No hot water in shower, took cold showers for 4 days before we figured out the trick. 5. No TV other than netflix in spanish. My wife figured out how to switch to english on the third day.
