Come take a drive, a stroll or may be ride your bike down the sidewalks of Historic Main Street, filled with beautiful old trees, old sea captain’s houses, Centerville Historic Museum, and the 1856 Penny Candy and gift store. From Main Street continue down Craigville Beach Road to the warm ocean waters of Craigville Beach were you will find a nice sandy beach waiting for you to sink your feet into, sit back and relax with a book or take a swim in the refreshing ocean waters.
Make a point to stop at the 1856 Country Store, for penny candy, quaint Cape Cod gifts and souvenirs. Or if you prefer something more enticing how about an ice cream cone or hot fudge sundae, from the World Famous 4 Seas Ice Cream, an easy walk from the Country Store.
By being centrally located this property offers our guests many things to see and do during their stay. Located about a 10 minutes drive to Downtown Main Street, Hyannis, where you will discover great restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and museums. Also a popular location for night life. From here you can stroll down to the Harbor were during the summer months, you will find local artist shacks filled with gifts of all kinds, awesome waterfront dining, or hop on the island ferry for a exciting fun filed day on Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. If fishing is what you prefer, take a trip on a fishing charter or drive to the end of Ocean Street and fish from the jetty. If windsurfing is your thing head down to Kalmus Beach, where you may find windsurfing and or kite surfing.
The Melody Tent is an amazing venue settled at the end of Main Street where you can catch a live show of music or comedy. The Cape Cod Mall, another popular spot perfect for shopping, watching a movie, or even bowling, is only a few minutes drive from Main Street.
Within a short drive (10 mins) from the property you will find grocery stores ( Lambert's, Star Market, Stop & Shop, Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s), two, 18 hole golf courses, as well as mini golf, brewing companies & fish market.
Take a scenic drive down South Main Street catching glimpses of the Centerville River as you drive into beautiful downtown Osterville, another quaint village of Barnstable, for more shopping, restaurants, and Dowses Beach.
Route 6a is a lovely, scenic drive, if antiquing is something you’re interested in, or if you are looking to be a bit more adventurous you could drive down to the lower cape to Providence Town, stopping along the way at the National Seashore , something to see for sure, or grab a cocktail at the Beachcomber beach bar & restaurant right on the dunes in Wellflleet were they also have live music, while there check out the Flea Market at the Wellfleet drive in open on the weekends. These are just a few of the many options available to you.
Our house sits back off the street at the end of our driveway on a little hill. Were you will find the afternoon sun filtering in through the large bay window drenching the living room with warm sunlight, you will find comfortable seating, a 50" TV with an Amazon fire stick, books, board games, and a DVD player with movies. High speed wifi and basic cable TV are also included. The dining room offers a relaxed coastal feel with comfortably seating for 6, off the dining room you will find a sun porch ( the best room in the house according to our guests), a great place for waking up and enjoying your favorite cup of joe while basking in the morning sun. The kitchen, painted in a soothing ocean green is nicely equipped with appliances such as a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender and microwave. You will also find dishes, glasses, pots, and pans., utensils, etc , other cooking necessities include a full spice drawer, coffee pods, and tea. There is another table with seating for 4 as well.
The bedrooms, all painted in a soft water blue, have comfy mattresses, linens, pillows, and blankets. Each room has a closet, hangers, bureau, extra blanket and pillows and nightstand/stands. The first bedroom has 2 twin sized beds, decorated in soft blues and greens, and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed, decorated in teal and navy, the third bedroom, decorated in teal green, being the master, has its own bathroom with a shower stall. A second full bath with a tub is located in the hallway.
After a day at the beach, shopping or just exploring the Cape kick back in the nice back yard and relax with a cold beverage while barbecuing an awesome dinner on the gas grill, or enjoy playing a yard game or two.
On the deck you will find chairs, side tables, and a gas grill. In the back yard will find a new blue stone patio with new patio table with an umbrella and seating 6.
For your convenience, we have provided a washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board . You will also find linens and towels for your use, as well as beach chairs*, umbrellas* , beach towels*, and beach toys*. In addition, we also supply starter shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.

** BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLAS, TOWELS AND TOYS ARE PROVIDE AS A CONVENIENCE, NOT AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE LEASE. IF ITEMS ARE LOST, DAMAGED, OR BROKEN DURING THE SEASON, OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REPLACE THEM.
