I am a local attorney and grew up a short walk from the house, which was my best friend's home in my childhood. I still live close by and am usually available to answer any questions you may have.
E.B. purchased this House in 2005
Why E.B. chose Perryville
We enjoy the waterfront and wanted a property we could share with others. It's within walking distance from my house so I can check on it easily. It was also my best-friend from elementary school's house, so it has a lot of memories for me.

We had a tremendous stay in Perryville . The house was as delightful as it looks in the photos and in the description. The location is idylic especially when watching the sunrise over the water.Thank you for all the special memories.
Family reunion and it went perfectly! Best we have ever had!
Our 3 grown daughters, husbands and children from 3 - 8 had such a great time at E B's beautiful Chesapeake Bay home!
First -- the residence was gorgeous with tons of space, light, dining table space, comfortable beds for all and even lovely, user friendly decorating!
The swimming for kids and adults was wonderful. After a few feet of pebbly walking (where swim shoes are advisable), it was all sand. When tide is in; great for adults. When out; the children can touch bottom and swim safely for quite a ways!
We took 2 canoes to add to the kayak and paddle boards already there. The shoreline is amazing for viewing nature and birds of all kinds; Bald Eagles, Osprey, all sorts of shore birds and even a resident Great Blue Heron who would soar right in to his home in the tidal stream beside the house!
Shopping is very close, also. A fabulous place to stay!
Thank you for the kind words, it was wonderful having you. The water is perfect for children and adults alike, and stays warm through October. The birds become even more prolific as migration grows throughout the fall. The waterside fire pit invites s'mores and walks up our lane and through the woods add to the adventure. I hope you will come again!
Loved our stay. Great location and lots of room for our family!
Great location to all things North East, Md
Close to Turkey Point. And right on the water. We rented additional kayaks from Bayside Adventures. They delivered kayaks to the house for the duration of our stay
Thank you so much for the kind words. The property is very private and a great place to commune with nature. We also have additional kayaks available for rent. We hope you will return again for another stay!
84 Little River Road
Great location, easily accessible and close to nearby attractions, small towns, restaurants, etc.,
Everything and More
This property was everything and more than we expected. We loved the location, tucked away and private. The view from every window and the multiple decks was great. We also enjoyed the wildlife - beavers, herons, turtles, ducks and a bald eagle to mention a few.The kitchen had more than the usual basic supplies for cooking. Bedrooms/beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were exactly what was needed. Plenty of linens were supplied. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. The bonus kitchen upstairs was a plus. This house allowed pets and parties which made it a perfect fit. The owner was accommodating when a late check out was needed and offered great directions to the house in his welcome notes. House rules were clear and reasonable. Overall great experience and would absolutely rent from him again.
Thank you for your kind words. We love sharing our home and all the nature that surrounds our private area on the river. We hope you will come and stay a little longer next time.
Wonderful Girl's Weekend
The house is spacious and clean and well-stocked with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. There were only six of us so the house had more than enough space. Despite a gloomy forecast, the weather cooperated and we took day trips to Havre de Grace, Chesapeake City and North East - great little towns with plenty of shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is beautiful and quite - nice for a walk, run or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the water view! Highly recommend this home.
The property is situated between Seneca Point and Carpenters Point, just south of Charlestown. Being on a point results in no through-traffic, and aside from the boats, a very quiet setting. We see abundant wildlife: bald eagles, great blue herons, ospreys, wood ducks, mallards, river turtles, beavers, deer and foxes. We own 16 acres of woods and marsh, and there are another many acres adjacent to the property full of wildlife visible by foot or by boat. In warm weather boaters anchor in the shallows to the north to on the weekends. Elite anglers have stayed here.
During the Revolutionary War, Charlestown was a major supply depot for the Continental Army. Early in the war, a British ship blockading the port was captured and its officers and men marched through the streets of town. In August 1777 the British bombarded the town as a diversionary tactic while General Howe’s troops sailed up the Elk River to land in Elkton.
Other Activities: Kayaking, Boating, Wildlife Viewing, Hollywood Casino - 5 miles
Golf: Furnace Bay is 4 miles away and reasonably priced. Chesapeake Bay Golf Club has two courses, in North East and Rising Sun. Patriots Glen is in Elkton and Bittersweet Golf is south of Elkton toward Chesapeake City, about 20 minutes away.
