About via di corte
I was lucky, I grew up in Venice and in the Venetian countryside. I studied art and history. Always had a passion for travels, nature and new projects. I had the opportunity of working in the field of art: galleries and art events, eventually I owned a my own gallery and I am also working coordinator and problem solver for events in Venice and abroad: just finished working for some settings at the Biennale of Art in Venice. Whenever I can I try to be in touch with nature: swimming, horse riding, hiking or biking: it recharges my batteries. I also like arts and music, both ancient and contemporary and friends, people to share my feelings and ideas.

Why via di corte chose Roccastrada
As I said before Montemassi happened to be my place of Soul: here I can cradle my passions, all of them and everything is at hand. Riding, swimming, hiking, touring or just sit and read in a magic atmosphere. And then, going for a stroll with the friends of the village and coming back with wild herbs, salads and flowers, mushrooms or chestnuts depending on the season. I like share a prosecco and spritz in the garden with them or cook .. simple things that are treasures for my heart
The garden is available for smokers
I'd love you to relax and enjoy the stay : I only have a couple of points to illustrate: The house has been passionately restored with an extraordinary attention to materials. Please do not use perfumes or chemical like nails remover on the Carrara Marble basin and black stone desk. We provide neutral soaps to clean them. Also, please do not throw objects, cotton and similar into the toilette. I kindly ask you to use the wooden protections to prevent hot pans and pots to burn the wooden tables and the kitchen desk: every single detail here is custom made and replace pieces is really costly and difficult.. Please do not smoke inside the house: a garden is at your disposal. Pets are not welcome only because I love them and I know they need a green area to relax. Our garden is a rocky one, too small for pets and guests together.

Gracious Hostess, exquisite decor and an enchanting location!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Roccastrada! The views of the valley below were spectacular! The unit was clean, comfortable, tastefully appointed and set up with modern conveniences and luxuries into the ancient rock walls of the village!
Being able to walk to dinner was a huge plus and the location great for sightseeing.

Dear Judy and Martin,
thank you. It was so nice having you as my guests and I really hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon again.
As you pointed out there is so much to explore in Maremma and Montemassi is such a nice and magic village, close to many charming places.
The room was everything the photos show it to be. Just a really beautiful and unique experience We did wish there was a bit more privacy and more to do closer to home base.
I am really sorry that you had these troubles....the first time I heard someone saying there is no privacy in the apartment. Of course it is not a private villa in the country, it is in the middle of the village, but it is written in the ad. You could help me if you say who disturbed you.
For things to do in the surroundings, I am really sorry, but you were not interested: there are hundreds of things to do within 20 minutes from home: any kind of trekking, wine touring in the best and artistic wineries of Tuscany, Etruscan or Renaissance arts tours, natural reserves.
You had your plan : in two days you wanted to visit cities 60 km far from home....like Siena. You could have visit it on your way to Venice. I am really sorry you did not enjoy and get the beauty of Maremma.
All the best guys
A brilliant holiday at Via di Corte!
Gabriella gave us a very warm welcome, then showed us our beautiful apartment next door to hers. It really had the 'wow' factor, with many original features but also well equipped with everything we needed. Gabriella couldn't have been more helpful, asking us about our interests then suggesting activities and places that she thought we might like. We visited many places during our nine day stay and got a real feel for Tuscany.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a holiday base in this beautiful part of Italy.

We spent a few days in beautiful stone villages, amazing apartment with exceptional service owner Gabriele. We felt like home. We were impressed her friendly attitude and willingness. Nothing was a problem :). In its recommendations, we visited beautiful places in Southern Tuscany, beaches, small towns and perceive the beauty of the landscape. It was an unforgettable experience for us.
It was a great pleasure to have Mira and Vlada as guests. Perfect attitude, such nice persons, for me a perfect feeling.
I was happy to share my passion for this special land with them and hope to meet them soon again.
