There is a $120 pet cleaning fee regardless of the length of stay, however pets must be approved on an individual case in Advance with the owner.
You can ride the streetcar from my home to the French Quarter, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, downtown, uptown, City Park and Audabon Park/Zoo, so no driving or parking issues!

This house is the ideal location for the streetcar, Audubon Park and zoo, the French Quarter and Convention Center events (10 minute drive). Located four houses off renowned Magazine Street.
Many guests never leave the neighborhood during their stay they as will go to the many entertainment venues, restaurants, and shopping areas that are within walking distance.
My home is close to the French Quarter, 3.2 miles distance, 10 minute drive with traffic. The distance from my home to the St Charles Streetcar is 5 blocks .
It is very convenient to the Convention Center, and as a result a large percentage of my guests attend meetings there. It is 2.9 miles in driving distance, an 8 minute drive with traffic.
There is a strictly enforced limit of a maximum of 6 occupants overnight, 12 maximum people in my home at any one time, no exceptions.
You are just a streetcar ride from the French quarter, the Superdome, and jazz fest. In the heart of historic uptown New Orleans, you are only a streetcar ride from many local attractions. The St. Charles Avenue Streetcar takes you to the famous French Quarter, the Convention Center, the Riverwalk, and the Superdome, all within minutes. Too many incredible restaurants to write! You are only minutes from-The French quarter, Tulane and Loyola Universities, Tipitina's, the Audubon Park and Zoo, downtown, Mardi Gras parades, Jazz Fest, art gallery openings, music, bars... The list goes on!

Wonderful place, perfect weekend
We stayed here with two other couples in March of 2010. It's a beautiful home and a great location, easy walking to some of our favorite NO restaurants (Dick and Jenny's, Casamento's, Petit Grocery, Lilette) and watering holes (The Columns, Tipitina's). If you've only ever seen the Quarter, this neighborhood will show you the real New Orleans you've been missing, and the house is fantastic. We hope to go again as soon as we can swing it! The owner was completely helpful and responsive.
My family and my in laws came to New Orleans on vacation and we didn't want to be split up by hotel rooms so we looked into renting a house. I was very skeptical at first being the part of this trip with a teenager I knew we needed enough space to relax. This house was perfect everyone got their own room own space but there was also a great area to get together and all hangout. We couldn't have asked for more and I would definitely come back.
This is a great place to get the total Uptown experience of New Orleans. Location to shops, restaurants, transportation, entertainment and grocery stores is excellent. Scott was very accommodating and flexible which is a plus. The house itself has all of the modern conveniences and comforts. I have already recommended it to some friends. It truly made our family's experience in the "BIG Easy" memorable.

We gathered here with family (3 couples) for a festival and couldn't have been happier with the house and the location! We were in walking distance of great restaurants and shops as well as the trolley to get to the French quarter. The off street parking was super convenient and the street was quiet at night. The owner, Scott, has been very responsive and easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here.
Great host of a great home in a great area of a great city!
So clearly we enjoyed our stay. It all started with Dr Griffith who was a very responsive and helpful host. The home was in a great area with a lot of walkable places on Magazine street and also accessible to the street car. The house had a great layout with a really nice kitchen, living room, and outdoor patio - we probably spent more time at the house in the morning than we planned, but it was a great way to relax and wake up to the day. We are all really looking forward to coming back and will definitely consider staying here again.
Brilliant house practically on Magazine Street
This house was awesome and Scott was very quick to respond and helpful. This house is great for a small group of friends who want to see more New Orleans and not so much Bourbon Street. Steps away from Magazine Street which is the perfect place for visitors....we could have eaten on that street every night. A nice walk , a leisurely streetcar ride, or an easy uber ride to the Quarter (cheaper to taxi if there's any uber surcharge).
Perfectly located, well appointed, large and sociable spaces, attentive host, and an amazing city. What more could you ask for?

There is a nonrefundable $120 carpet/comforter cleaning fee for pets IF approved. The approval process involves review of the pets medical records by the homeowner/veterinarian for medical issues such as gastrointestinal problems, incontinence problems, flea or parasite conditions, etc. Approval is done on a case-by-case basis.
