About this property

The Arrowhead Condo is conveniently located in Big Sky's Mountain Village. The Arrowheads are stand alone Chalets built into the north facing slope of the Andesite Mountain facing lone Peak, the Spanish Peaks and the Mountain Village. They are next to the Ramcharger Lift (8-person bubble covered) and are located at the bottom of the Silver Knife run.

The kitchen, dining room and family room are all located on the second floor with a fabulous view of Lone Peak. House amenities include: hot-tub and deck, deck facing Lone Peak (off of family room), full size washer & dryer, wireless internet, Sonas music system, internet TV's and a fully furnished and appointed kitchen.

Kitchen: Fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, knifes, glasses, wine glasses, drink glasses, tupperware, measuring cups, bowls, pyrex dishes, mixing bowls, Ninja Blender, crock pot, Panini grill, Fryer, Tea pot, coffee maker, fondue pot, Swiss Grill, toaster and mixer. Kitchen contains most of the cooking supplies you will need: oil, spices, salt & pepper. Appliances: Stainless steel; microwave, double oven, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator.

House is continually updated as needed. This Arrowhead unit is warm, comfortable and makes you feel like your home. Great place to make dinner for the night or walk out your front door and you can be at a restaurant within 2-minutes.

Parking:
Limited Parking is provided. 1- garage and may one open space if it is available.

The unit is less than a two minute walk to one of the Mountain Villages most refined dining experiences: The Cabin. If you want to experience apre' ski like a local, next door is Scissor Bill's Saloon. Another minute walk would get you to the heart of the Mountain Village: Big Sky Base Camp and the Mountain Mall. The Resort and the Mountain Mall offer a wide variety of dining and shopping experiences. You will never have to leave the Mountain.

This location is highly desireable as you can walk to everything that you need. All of the special events held on the Mountain: Sno-Bar, Blue Grass Festival and the infamous Pond Skim are all just steps away. In the summer this is an ideal location to stay while enjoying the Resorts summer events, including Brewfest or only 1-hour away is the West entrance of Yellowstone Park. The free Mountain Shuttle stops right in front of the Arrowheads and can take you to the Meadow Village and the Town Center of Big Sky at no cost.

If you want to be in the center of activity on the Mountain this is your location. Assistance with Transporting luggage, groceries and other essential is available upon prior request. This unit you are not able to drive up to, but we have a property manager that can help with delivery of your items to the unit.

Perfect Big Sky ski base

Perfect layout in perfect location for ski trip

We were two families of 4 (parents plus 2 teen daughters each) staying for our annual ski trip. I have booked our lodging every year at various ski resorts for the last 10 yrs and this may have been my greatest success. My husband's priority is access to the mountain and this condo was perfect. The ski in/out aspect was the easiest we've ever had and was very central to the overall ski resort-- not off to one side so that you spend all your time traversing the mountain to get back for lunch. My SIL does not spend much time on the slopes and needs a cozy condo for family meals and games. The kitchen had everything one would need for cooking nice meals and even a couple of appliances we don't have at home like a panini press and waffle iron. We never ran out of plates, cups or silverware. My nieces are in high school and had a few virtual assignments they needed to do and the wifi sent out a strong consistent signal so they had no issues. The 4 teens loved having their own space in the upstairs loft. Each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom and all were spacious and nicely appointed. There was more than enough room for groceries and ski jackets and boots. We never felt like we were tripping over each other or stuff. Additionally, I loved that there were spices, etc in the kitchen, detergent in the laundry room and soap/shampoo/lotion in the bathrooms. I also appreciated that instructions were so clearly laid out and any questions we had could be answered once we arrived at the condo. What to do when you arrive, where to park, departure checklist, wifi password, thermostat controls, etc. Everything was written out in simple instructions. The condo location was very close to other condos as well as a couple of restaurants and a ski rental shop. But we never felt that noise or traffic from neighbors was an issue at all. This little area of the mountain seemed quiet and serene all day every day. We rented our skis from the shop right there and found the prices to be no more than they were in town, the equipment was in great condition, and it was so easy to make changes and return because it was right there. The only reason I would hesitate to recommend this location is if someone in your party had mobility issues. The condo is a short walk uphill from the garage and with snow and ice this may be challenging. The owners have a polaris available to assist with this but I would recommend discussing with them if you have concerns.

Our Family has skiied together since the kids were young. We used to own a place in Sun Valley and found we spent less and less time there as the kids were in Middle School and busy with sports. We sold our place and always wanted to have a place to enjoy skiing again. Since the snow in town where we currently live, is very unpredicatable and wet. Everyone is still skiing and we have been spending most of the Winter skiing as much as we can. With our son off to MSU, we wanted a place we all could use. We have enjoy all the summer and winter activities that goes on at the mountain,(big sky big grass, Pond Skim, Snowbar, Brewfest and many others) you can walk on over and enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This was the first property we looked at and we loved the layout and view. We knew we could change everything else. The layout makes you feel like you have your own space in the home. Adding on to the loft area, enlarged the upper area for more space for everyone. Each Bedroom has its own bathroom. So much to do. In the winter: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country, snow mobiling, fishing, hiking to Ousel Falls or back country skiing. Summer: Hiking, Fishing, ATV tours, 1-hour to West Yellowstone gate, Ousel Falls and lots of activities through Base Camp at Big Sky.

What makes this property unique

The views and ability to walk everywhere is what we love about this home. We can ski out our front door, go snow shoeing out our front door and walk to many restaurants and shops without getting into a car. Having two master bedrooms on the first floor with King beds makes it very comfortable for two families. Private Hot tub after a long ski day or hike. Private Deck to enjoy the spectacular views.
