Perfect holiday destination!!
We had a great time, the property was even better than the photos! So calm, easy to visit places. We had the perfect weather, but I could imagine it being a perfect place in the middle of winter to! Zero complaints!!
Character and tasteful conversion, plenty of space for 2 or 1, easy access and well maintained
Delightful rural location on edge of National Park, spacious with all modern conveniences. Steep drive to negotiate upon arrival located on a small holding with welcoming young family on site. Outdoor terrace a lovely sun trap from midday onwards. Well maintained internally good tv and internet connections. Spacious interior with plenty of room to spread and chill out. Highly recommended, had a great stay. Martin from Newport, Wales.

You certainly had the best of the weather! Hope to see you again.
We really enjoyed our stay!
Great place to relax. James & his wife are very friendly and generous.
Thank you for your review and I'm glad you both enjoyed your child free stay!
Perfectly calm cottage in every way. Life felt slow and peaceful. We really loved our stay and would happily recommend this cottage.
Hairdryer would have been good.
Thank you for our review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I will put a hairdryer in the cottage for future guests!
Thank you also for leaving the cottage spotless
Hope to see you again.
From the minute we drove into the place the view was jaw droppingly beautiful!..then we opened the door to our cottage which was again stunning, well equipped, clean and bright!...an ideal escape to the country!
We had such a nice week here. A well-thought out property, comfortable, warm; perfect for a cosy romantic break. Thanks to James.
The Exe Valley / Exmoor is an ideal location for both touring and exploring the local area. The North Devon Coast is just 40 min away with stunning Saunton Sands & Woolacombe. The South Coast with Exmouth & Seaton is only 45 min too.
The area surrounding the cottage boasts several National Trust properties, RHS Rosemoor and an array of wonderful gardens. For those who like to be more active there are several places to fish and cycle.
There are plenty of options for walking both close to the cottage and on Exmoor which is just 10 min drive. To the North the Quantocks has wonderful walks too including the Coleridge Way. The picturesque towns of Dulverton and Bampton are close by offering a range of places to eat and shop and host various annual events. There is plenty to do or you can just relax in your garden on the edge of our woodland.
