Lovely Carriage House

Lovely property for one or two people. Convenient to beach shopping and dining. Appreciated that bikes were included.

Perfect Location!

You cannot beat the location of this property! It is very close to the beach, with ocean views and quick access. Restaurants are less than a minutes walk. The property is beautiful and well equipped and maintained. As pictured. We did experience an issue with the drain in the bathroom but the property management team was quickly on it! They had if fixed in no time. Our only real issue was with the WiFi. For a very small unit, the only place you could get WiFi was in the living room and the signal was very weak. My daughter and I both needed access for Zoom calls at the same time which we had planned to do from separate rooms. She stayed in the living room but repeatedly lost service and I had to go outside to the courtyard. We did call the property manager, who was super nice and sent someone out to see if they could do anything. I believe he reset it but it didn’t get much better, especially in the bedroom. The WiFi seems to be coming from the main house, and I believe the signal is just too weak to cover the additional property. Perhaps a booster on property would cost effectively resolve the issue for future renters? The property management team did offer to let me use their offices for my call which was nice. By the time I was able to someone about the issue, my work calls were over and it was really just a matter of convenience. We like to watch Netflix on our iPad in bed at night. For some folks, WiFi may not be an issue and it shouldn’t overshadow what is otherwise a great property. However, with so many people working remote or hybrid I thought I’d mention it because this will matter if you stay here.

Fantastic Location! Close to beach

Positives: location, location, location. It’s a 2min walk to beach. Has washer and dryer. Perfect size condo for 2 adults and a toddler. Has one car garage parking. Walking distance to many restaurants which we loved! Though be prepared to spend $150 for 2 at dinner. Pricey! The complex has pools and a playground for the kids! Negatives: needs a deep clean really bad. Walls, baseboards, balls of hair in the bathroom upon arrival. Unfinished painting in bathroom and front porch area. The condo connected by a door to the next unit/part of the same house? You can hear the neighbors quite well. (I didn’t realize this before we booked) The neighbors actually opened the connecting door on their arrival day. The manager did apologize in email. Many stairs to enter the front door.

Location

The location is to die for. We were at Rosemary beach for a wedding at The Pearl and this location couldn’t have been better! The carriage house is smaller than it appears in the picture, but for a couple it’s perfect. The couch is very dirty, needs to be deep cleaned or replaced, do not plan on anyone sleeping on there. Overall this location trumps everything, would recommend.
