About this property

Less than a mile walking distance from historic downtown St Augustine NIGHT OF LIGHTS where you can find many top notch restaurants/bars, shopping and too many tours to mention! If you are attending a wedding most venues are walking distance along with a number of local restaurants. More than enough activities to keep the entire family (Alligator Farm, horse draw carriage, Oldest School House in the US, Flagler Historical Tour, Museum, St George Street, Distillery, Boat Tours at all hours, and many other romantic or family things to do. The Nights of Lights (November to February) are not to be missed! Gas grill along with out door furniture to enjoy that special dinner. Three parking spaces in driveway of home and a private heated pool***.

After a day at the beach or touring our beautiful city! Great family house with games, a park within walking distance, and plenty of night lift to keep everyone of all ages entertained! Private back yard with plenty of area to sit at a backyard table and grill your favorite meal.

Relax in one of our upstairs or downstairs porches! Enjoy complimentary coffee and watch the sunrise from your private porch or sit out back next to the pool.

Pool temperatures could be adjusted higher during your stay for a small fee. Obviously, pool temperatures are impacted by weather under 60 degrees. Plan ahead if you would like to raise the temperature during your stay!

Two minute walk to a fantastic breakfast/lunch restaurant with great reviews! Five miles to the best beaches in St Augustine!

You will not be disappointed with this home! Fully stocked kitchen with all necessary appliances, shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well in the bathrooms. Brand new linens, towels, blankets for a very comfortable stay!

no surprises

home is a lot bigger pictures don't show how nice it really is There was nothing that was missing. The host thinks of everything. We know are way around so we usually took are car. location is close to all major attractions. Fish camp is great place to eat. We were 3 couples house was perfect for our needs. Price was great for what is offered.

Looked great on paper.

While on face the property looks nice, once you stay there it really isn’t. We had the issue of no AC for 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Even though it was muggy, warm, and raining over Christmas their suggestion was to open the windows. Other issues included a dirty washer that was rusting out, the grill advertised was also completely rusted out. Many of the vents and bathroom windows were very dirty. The pool area was tiny and a mess. Not sure about the pool itself as it was covered and they charge extra to heat it. Bring your own water for drinking. This seemed like a problem across St. Augustine tho as the water tasted the same at a couple restaurants. In the end I asked for a partial refund and they would only consider it in exchange for a positive review and made a thinly veiled threat of a negative review for us if we left a negative review for them. When I pointed out that this is against VRBOs anti-extortion policy they changed their tune but the refund was insultingly low. They will try to move conversations to text instead of the portal as well. Luckily we chose this home due to the location relative to downtown and not 100% for the home itself so it didn’t ruin our trip.

Family came together on both sides for a surprise proposal. The house is roomy and comfortable. It’s very well maintained. Family enjoyed walking to downtown and learning so much about the historic area.
