About Susie Black
I'm a Personal Trainer in Scotland. My work is very flexible which means I can keep in touch with you to make sure you have a lovely stay. There is a welcome folder available on arrival with help and guidance on all aspects of the apartment usage.
Susie Black purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Susie Black chose Pleasance
This flat is within 5 minutes walking distance of the Grassmarket and Royal Mile. There are many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bus routes close by. The apartment looks out over Arthur's Seat, The Salisbury Craggs, the Palace of Holyrood House and Dynamic Earth. We purchased this property with the specific desire to rent it to holiday makers. This means we've already considered the location, space, views and storage you'll need. I hope you feel we chose well!
What makes this Apartment unique
What is a City Break? It's a lover's getaway. It's the farewell of your child to university or the celebration of their graduation. It's the weight of a family's expectation or your child's good nights' sleep. It's the haven between important job interviews or a home from home when work takes you from loved ones. It's a chance to reminisce, return, retread old paths or discover new interests and loves. It's a party with friends in a truly international capital city. It's an investment in your hope, money and time. We understand that it's important to you. It's important to us, too. Wherever you end up, have a great stay in Edinburgh, our favourite city.

Wonderful stay in Edinborough!
Susie's is a lovely flat with a spectacular view, strategically located within short walking distance of a multitude of attractions. The flat itself is clean, bright, warm and welcoming. There is a café directly across the street that serves excellent coffee and breakfast to start your day. We would highly recommend this VRBO if you are traveling to this historically rich and flavorful city!
Quiet place close to city center
This is a well kept property with wonderful views from any window. The bedroom faces a quiet side street and the beds can be set up as two single or one large bed. Guests from Germany will enjoy that a blanket per bed can be provided. You just have to ask, Eddie and his team help quickly and with a smile. The spacious living room overlooks a small garden and a medium city road. The home is on the third floor and there is no elevator. We liked the closeness to the city center. Several stores were in easy walking distance (Lidl, Sainsburry, Tesco). There is no free parking on the premises, but a parking garage is just a few minutes away. And if you have time go and enjoy a stroll up Arthurs Seat!
I really enjoyed our stay. The place has great views out front and back windows. It was close to stores for shopping and the apartment had pretty much all of the basics. Drawback was being on the 3rd floor and dragging luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Also, it's a college area and drunk kids were yelling and laughing into the early morning (every single night). The shower had a folding glass screen instead of a curtain that only extended out a few feet so if not careful the bathroom could get all wet. But I liked the place overall.
We enjoyed "living in the neighborhood". Eddie responded to the few concerns we had which turned out to be our not understanding. He was very kind. Everything was just great. Susie responded immediately to my questions and check in was smooth.
We really enjoyed our second holiday in this apartment. It was easy to communicate with both Susie and Eddie - they were both very helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay in the flat. It was very clean and tidy, well equipped and comfortable. Fantastic location for Fringe venues.
