This property is 15 miles from Swan Lake on the Swan River. The entire property consists of the main home, a guest cottage, bunkhouse, and RV hookup. This property is situated between the Swan Mountain Range and the Mission Mountain Range. Our home has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and a bathroom to share and one with a king bed and en suite bathroom with a shower.). There is a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. We have a well equipped kitchen with a large island, a full dining room that is open to the great room with a fireplace and lots of seating and a game table. There is a wood stove in the kitchen and a stack washer/dryer for your use. The two TV's are connected to Dish network plus phone and internet service through Blackfoot. There is only cellular Wi-Fi service in this area. You will enjoy the deck which faces the river with seating, a barbecue and an umbrella table that seats 8 -12 plus a fire pit and chairs in the yard. We also have an additional guest cottage next door with one bedroom. This cottage has a kitchen, small dining table, full bathroom, and a large deck. The living room has a sofa bed. This rents for $175.00 per night with a $100 cleaning fee. Both places have Direct TV, internet, and a phone land line. The river in front provides great fly fishing, rafting and a relaxing place to sit and read. The view is spectacular with the Mission Mountains in front. Besides the cottage we also have a bunkhouse which can sleep 2 or 3 people but there is no bathroom and sleeping bags are suggested. If you rent the entire property there is no charge for the bunkhouse. If you also bring a motor home we have an electric hookup, water and a dump station for an additional fee of $100.00. This property may by rented in whole, just the main home, or just the cottage. (We only rent to one group at a time.) We also have weekly rates for both units and if you are interested please contact us through VRBO..

Amazing Property & Amazing Owners
This place was in the perfect location and had the perfect amount of space for a big group of friends. The pictures online don’t do this place justice. The space is perfect, the kitchen is fully stocked, the views are breathtaking. The owners were also amazing and very easy to contact and help us with anything we need.

Wish it was mine
We were met by the owners and given a tour. The pictures aren't enough to experience the amazing qualities of this property. We were met with more linens and supplies than we could ever need, and were even loaned a closet full of warm clothing (for layers, although we didn't need them.) Our stay was relaxing and wonderful. If you're thinking about staying at this property, stop thinking about it and do it. You'll be glad you did.

superb location...extraoridnarily well equipped
The setting of this property is superb; Swan River at cabin footsteps, great views of it and Mission Mountain Wilderness, lots of open territory for hiking and much privacy. Terrific "gteat room" open yet intimate, lots of lush couches with warming fireplace. More than you need in kitchen, everything well stocked and accessible. Interesting art/objects all over the cabin creates very home like feeling. Absolute recommend

Unbelievable Views
Ernie and MaryLou were awesome hosts! They answered all of our questions in person and over the phone. They responded quickly and were easy to get a hold of. Their property has views that you only see in movies. We could have never imagined the view of the river flowing with the mountains in the background. We assumed it would be a small creek but it is an actual knee/thigh deep river flowing fairly quickly, which was amazing. Cooking breakfast outside on the flat top grill, enjoying a cup of coffee was a perfect way to start the day. The cabin is very close to beautiful hikes but also far enough off of the highway that you can’t hear the traffic. The evening view was even better than the morning view as we would be outside barbecuing, having a campfire and watching the sun go down. The main cabin was very nice and updated as well. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to stay. This is truly an amazing place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone! Ernie and MaryLou have a one of a kind cabin and we were so appreciative that they allowed us to stay there!!

We grew up in Montana and my Dad bought the place on the Swan River when I was a senior in high school. We have always loved the place and love to share the fishing, hunting, hiking and just natural beauty of the place.

What makes this property unique

Very few places have the views of the mountains and the river right in front of them. At night you can hear the sound of the river it's very soothing.
