About this property

MeadowLark Lodge in the Hocking Hills

Situated on 2.8 private hilltop acres, MeadowLark Lodge offers a stunning view of the Hocking Valley with plenty of room to spread out, enjoy yard games, or sit on the deck or lower patio and watch the deer. We're just minutes from hiking trails.
We’re a five minute drive from Lake Logan boat dock and beach where you can rent a canoe, fish (you’ll need a license), swim, or bird watch (eagles, loons, blue herons, kingfishers, etc.) You won’t need a four-wheel drive vehicle in winter, and you’ll have easy access to our finest local restaurants, wineries, shopping, and hospital.

“The Caves” (Old Man’s Cave, Conkle’s Hollow, Ash Cave, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls, Whispering Cave and Hemlock Bridge), Lake Hope State Park, and Rock Bridge State Nature Preserve are a scenic ten to twenty-minute drive. You’ll experience hemlock-lined trails that wind through black-hand sandstone gorges and end in stunning waterfalls. Zip-lining, horseback riding, hunting, and the world’s only zip rail are also within a fifteen to twenty minute drive from MeadowLark Lodge.

Welcome to The Meadowlark lodge, locally owned and operated by Jane Ann and Doug. We love to host families and groups of friends who want the true log cabin experience. The Meadowlark offers lots of room to spread out and enjoy family and friends. Jane Ann was born and raised in the Hocking Hills, and Doug moved here several years ago to join Jane Ann in this amazing adventure. We provide a personal touch as we meet and greet all of our guests and make ourselves available during their stay. We offer advice on the best restaurants and shopping as well as favorite trails, best times to hike, and other ways to get the best experience from a visit to the Hocking Hills.

Why they chose this property

The Meadowlark is situated just three miles from town but on a dead end road. Our land offers mature growth trees and a beautiful view of area hills and valleys. Guests love watching the wildlife from the front and rear decks.

What makes this property unique

Our property has an expansive, flat field perfect for yard games, ball games, swinging on the tree swing, and having picnics under the large walnut and poplar trees.
