This Charm Getaway is a two story 5 bedroom single family oceanfront private getaway. Out of the 5 bedrooms - 4 of them have king beds with SPECTACULAR ocean views and deck access.
The 5th bedroom is a bunk bed room with 2 Twin over Twin and one pull out trundle. We offer 2 levels of private oceanfront decking, outdoor grill, our door seating, outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area which includes a new Nordic Hot Tub.

Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants.

We have installed new flooring and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room.

The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities.
The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views and chaise loungers for relaxing.

The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars.

We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys. Charcoal Grill and all grilling utensils provided.
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, Keurig and K-cups, hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom - shampoo/conditioner, body wash along with toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow Cats.

Great family getaway

The house has a great layout with enough space for everyone to both hang out together and get some alone time. The views from both decks were magnificent.

Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surf City. The house was right on the ocean. The weather was a bit rainy and cold a few of our days but we just enjoyed the great beach house even more.

Doorstep To The Sea

Very clean. Nice amenities: you don't have to bring soap (for kitchen, bathrooms, or laundry), hair dryer or any towels. There are plenty of towels. This makes life easy.The beds are made so you can walk or nap right into your vacation. The hot water tank is big enough to accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. That's a big plus. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep at night (and afternoon naps). The hot tub is wonderful! The owner and housekeeping contact are very responsive. The living room looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is, so it can't really accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. It would be nice to have a table on the deck for meals. The kitchen doesn't have a pantry, just a few cabinets for groceries. And while I admire that the owner invites us to leave unopened food for the next guests, I think it gives guests an excuse not to remove items that should be disposed of. The cabinets were literally full when we arrived; some of the items were open, some bottles almost empty, and most were items we would never use. Consequently, we had to spend our first hour there removing food (storing it in other rooms or disposing it), to make room for our groceries. This was also the case for refrigerated items. One way to make more room for groceries is to cull through and remove many of the multiple pots and pans that are stored underneath the counter tops (and remove the big ice machine that sits on the limited counter space).

Beautiful views and awesome house!

We had an extended stay at this wonderful oceanfront home and it was awesome! The home had everything you could need or want to make your stay feel just like you are at home but with the most amazing views! The amenities are the best. This home is in the perfect location, close to all things Surf City and only a short drive over the bridge to even more restaurants and stores. A highly recommend this home! The owners and property manager are wonderful and attentive to anything you need while at the property. Quick response and so friendly!

In September of 2018 my husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a long weekend getaway to Surf City. We have 2 dogs and one had just completed his last rounds of chemo treatments so we were only willing to go somewhere that we could take our dogs with us. We had not been on vacation in 6 years because of our dogs special needs.
After spending 4 days on the beach we decided we needed a beach house. Both my husband and dogs were at home and relaxed at the beach. 2 Months later we purchased Dream Getaway.
2019 we opened Dream and really enjoyed sharing our home with guests.
A friend from work visited us at the beach and decided she would like to have a beach house as well so we told her we would keep an eye out for a nice house for her.
When 2306 became available we went and looked at it and told her about it. Jokingly I said something about really liking the house and how 4 of the bedrooms were oceanfront - next thing I know we are buying 2306 - Charm Getaway.

Why they chose this property

Why Surf City NC when we live in Maryland?
Surf City is the beach of my childhood. I spent my summers visiting my family in Hampstead NC (10 minutes away) and my days were spent playing on the beach under the pier with my siblings and cousins.
My Great Grandfather ran shrimp and oyster boats in the sound for a living. If you visit our home you will notice the oyster shells and pictures around the house. These all remind me of why we own this home.

We love this SPACIOUS single family oceanfront home! This part of the beach is so peaceful and the views are out of this world. The oceanfront hot tub is truly a dream come true!
Charm Getaway is named after my home town of Baltimore. Baltimores nickname is Charm City so this house is really our getaway from Baltimore.
